Demake means turning a 3D game into a 2D game. I will be making the Final Fantasy 7 into a 2D game using RPG MAKER VX ACE. Keep in mind, only because it's a demake, it doesn't mean I'm making everything identical to the3D world. What I mean is, when I do the mapping, I might place things in different locations, or I might make it look slightly different. Nevertheless I will do my best to make sure everything looks and feels like Final Fantasy 7. I will do my best to sprite, and map as best as I can. In addition to all that... I will make Jessie, Biggs, and Wedge playable characters. I will give then unique weapons, and abilities. Who knows, I might even make Zack a playable character somehow!

Closewell if cant get a remade version of the game with improved lets change the style.
i don't consider 2d a downgrade.personally i prefer it more then 3d
i love anime and the look appeals to me more.
id love to see this completed. as for a demo w/e u want i wont play a demo.
as once i play thru a game i move on to the next way to many things to get to ya know.
id rather it just be fully made w/o no demo then get one and w8 a fair amount of time to see a update (after 2 years o painful w8 for something else i gave up)
this seems like it would be a huge project especially if your making custom sprites and stuff for it.
i sadly don't have creation talent and even then i prefer to play anyway
but you should seriously seek help of this if you don't have it.
and never ever forget to have backups made/updated every time you work on it.
ive seen way to many people make this mistake(make sure its unencrypted too.
i look forward to future completed game : D

*on another note id personally prefer mystic quest a game for the snes to be made in rpg maker XD
simple yet nostalgic memories :D

Games aren't made in a weekend. Most games you're buying in stores have been in development for over two years, you just don't know about it because it isn't announced right away. We don't have that luxury as indie game developers because we, in most cases, require the feedback from the community during development.

company games are not the same as most made with rpg m engines

theres ways to break encryption out there its just a program...

I’m going to attempt an overhaul of the sprites in battle. I’ll update this page. The project is not dead just it’s been on a long pause after my PC crashed and lost some progress.
