Progress Report

First Blog Post!

I feel like it's kind of late to start blogging about the game making experience now, but there's no time like the present. I think it'll also be good for me to make a record of what I'd like to implement in the game, in case I forget for some reason.

Requests! I need your help.

The first thing is I'd like to request some cool battle animation sequences (those which are set up in the database) I can do everything on my own but setting up those battle animations has always been my biggest weakness. Obviously you would be given proper credits, and my appreciation for you would be boundless. :) If you're interested, I can provide you the .pngs /.jpgs you'd need to set up the animations in the database, if need be. Or else, if you have cool animations for the game as it is, let me know.

I appreciate any way I can lessen the burden of making the game even as great as it can be.

Upcoming Chapter 2.0

What's better: releasing incremental updates (as in, once a few dungeons have been finished) or just waiting until Chapter 2 is done to release the full 2.0. As it stands, 1.3 contains about 30% of Chapter 2. (I've set up the version numbering to reflect the chapter's completion)

The tone of the game really changes beginning in Chapter 2, especially once you leave Morae-do. Several new characters join, including Benjamin and the Doctor. I won't say who the other characters are; I'll just say that one is integral to the plot while the other two are secret.
