Sep-25-09 1 year at RMN anniversary and casual play

This marks one year since Dragon Kingdoms: Birth of a Legend got its own game page. It actually happened on the 22nd, but I was busy releasing a little fun demo for Release Something! VIII.

Anyway, I played through most of the first part of the ORIGINAL Dragon Kingdoms (before it was subtitled, or any sequels were even made), and proceeded to get from the beginning to almost the end of the first part in just a few hours.

So, I'm thinking of having a "Casual Mode" where very, very little battles are required. In case you're wondering, the amount of Dracon (game's currency) will increase accordingly, or even appear randomly. You'll also gain a level every ten battles (maximum), with it ranging from three to eight most of the time.

Casual/Easy: Three to eight battles to gain a level most of the time. Easy battles.
Normal: Five to fifteen battles to gain a level, slightly less than the original. Requires a little more skill, as enemies know more spells and abilities.
Hard: Eight to twenty battles to gain a level, in line with the original.
Extreme: Still eight to twenty battles to gain a level, but everything is a LOT harder. Levels needed for each area will be similar to the older demo of this game.

I don't really want too much grinding. I just use the extra half of levels (levels 50+) to add more abilities and stronger attacks. You'll probably finish around level 85 as opposed to 42.
