Love the basic RPG mechanics but tired of saving the World? How about Conquering it? Well I'm happy to tell you that's pretty much what Flip Dimensions is about. However, In order to get your hands on the world you live in, you must travel across the multi verse fighting other Dark Lords and prove you are the strongest of the all!

Kazuki is a dark lord who wants to conquer the kingdom of Theiweth, but all his dreams are crushed when a farm boy from a forest village with no combat experience whatsoever destroys all of Kazuki’s evil dreams (Don’t you hate it when that happens?). With help from his right hand butler, Minori, Kazuki was able to escape his castle to live another day. Upon hearing about a legendary item that can grant wishes, Kazuki sets out to look for it still with the evil eyes bent on conquering the world... Only to later find out that the path to his wish may not be worth the effort and that the world he lives in may not be what it seems...

Features
-20+ hours of gameplay.
-Eight worlds, each with their own unique theme.
-Resource-manage physical attacks with a unique TP system.
-Extra endings available through New Game Plus.

Minor Update and Request

I have recently updated the download link with a new version of the game, nothing special, it's just that I saw my brother play through the game and noticed a handful of bugs and typos that needed to be fixed.

That was about two months ago. I don't remember what most of those specific changes are, unfortunately.

I also streamlined the download page. No more patches or a non-RTP version of the game. I feel like a 600 MB file is a much less tedious download in 2024 that it was in 2016.

But the reason I'm making this post was because I considering making a Definitive Edition version of the game, a port to MZ that could feel more complete as a product that properly concludes some plot threads that I was intentionally (and naively) saving for a sequel.

This version of the game would be it's own page. If it were to exist, I don't want it to replace this version of the game. So I figured I might as well make more drastic changes such as revamping elements of the combat and dungeons. I've been working with some friends on a design documents of sorts that details a lot of the changes I have in mind, but I would also request that anyone currently reading this who has played the game and has their experience fresh enough in mind to make any suggestions of what they would personally like to see, or things they don't want to change. The goal isn't to adhere to all this requests, but to consider them so I don't end up releasing a version of the game that feels alien to the original.

Thank you for your time,
Seacliff

I'm really enjoying this game but have a problem. I'm on the island with Med and just got the Dash Boots but can't figure out how to make them work. I come to the arrows and press the action button but it just leaves me standing there. Help!

Never mind. I figured it out.
Awesome game! I just beat it recently and going through New Game+ to try and get all the endings. During ending 3 (If you beat it right away), you are invisible, which is kind of annoying. I know Kazuki is at the top, but you should maybe make the player a wisp or something.

The most recent patch (I updated again in the background) fixes this.

But anyways, thank you so much for playing through my game! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

So here I am, trying to proceed in the Tower Infinity, but walk or run, I just fall down a level when I step on that square. This is the last place I need to finish in Chapter 8. How do I move on up?
I can't replicate the same issue.
There's a weak tile next to the flame time, meaning you have to let go of the run button immediately after turning left. But there isn't anything regarding the flame tile that should send you down a floor.

Is there some way for you to check my save file? I just can't figure out why I can't get past there. As soon as I step on the flame tile, bloop, down I go.
Sure, PM me. I'll check it out tomorrow afternoon.
I'm playing through the game now. I noticed that some of the statues in the dungeons won't heal you. Was that intentional or a bug?

Intentional
Hello,

I got some bugs for you that I found when hunting for Rin's Coins:

1. Ayldan Church-After the scene with Anneke, if you go back in, you'll be stuck in a dialogue loop and have to reset the game. It goes away after she leaves for Sineba, but if she's there in the church, the game gets stuck with her pleading for help.

2. Rin's Coin Merchant-He demands for 100,000G for it but took only 20,000 or so from me. I can't remember, but I'm not sure if you wanted it at 20,000 or at 100,000.
Found another one.

In Chapter 8 when you go into
Minori's Mind
the green checkered area can let you access the black areas that act as dividers. I'm guessing that's happening because there are no walls there to stop the player from getting in there.

Chapter 8-
After you
defeat Konton in his secret basement
if you go back to him, the same scene will repeat once again along with the battle.

Vampire Scythe-Equipping it drains HP of enemies when you attack, but if the character that has it equipped heals another character (items or skills) it will reverse and the equipped character will lose HP for every person healed.
Updated, thanks for bringing that up.

I'll give you a quick guide regarding the Rin coins though. There's only 3 in each World, save the ones in Chapter 8, and there's only 2 in Chapter 7. None of the new dungeons that appear in Chapter 8 have Rin coins either.

Earlier, finding the Rin Coins in Chapter 5 was nearly impossible, but I added dirt under them to make them easier to see. If you can't see it in the town in Chapter 5, then it might be worth updating.

Edit: Vampire's Scythe wasn't a bug, but I did forget to mention the side-effect in game.
does anyone know the location of all the rin coins?

I just met the vendor in the real world, but I'm short two.
how do i switch characters in my party?
Hello,

I'm stuck in the pirates island. I just received the Dash boots but I can't use them by any mean.

If somebody could help me, thank you very much.
