This isn't my first game. My first couple of games were failures, mishaps, and completely corny. Unplanned mishaps, junk, and things gotten nowhere. I think I made a game about being a slime as my first RPG maker game. But what happened to it, I have no idea. Though earlier I had made "Monster Enigma" and later this, Monster Enigma had a very bad story and I don't plan to release that one. Maybe I can redo it entirely and make it actually a 200% better experience. But, you gotta try, and try again until something gets right.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was based off a combination of a dream and a story I began writing when I was in my teens, but the original story changed a lot over time. Ironically, the story was inspired by DIGIMON called DIGITA then much later I changed it into LEGENDS OF INFINITE which I was making versions of this with VX Ace and 2003. Animation hell, really. But anyway.

In this game, you wake up as a leader of the Vaccinator Army, Dyluck, in an ancient fantasy world of Infinite, setting the final score with the enemy army and King, the Virals, who the Vaccinators have been fighting since the beginning of time. Yet after a battle with the General, Dyluck and his crew members get drawn into a scenario that sends him scrambling for answers. Something is off and seems wrong...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A few basic things you should know before playing:

1) Fairly challenging. There are no revival items or skills in this game and is based on survival and strategy.

2) Each character has their own specific skills.

3) This isn't like most retro games like Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest where you go searching underfoot or hidden pots, etc. However, certain items in the game improve your character's stats. It's not seeds here.

4) I tried to keep the style of the game similar to SNES games, but used my experience and knowledge of games to make it 'smarter'. A lot of games here have weird ratings or sometimes, things DO make sense in terms of ratings. A big faulty of many RPG Maker games, is writing. Or realizing what the engines themselves CAN do.

4) This is a very short game. I have possible games coming though. Though I am an illustration major and I have books that I am doing. I did "PSI-MAN" which was a comic in high school I was doing and I made it "better" in art school, at least "MORE PROFESSIONAL". I was even in my local paper! I can do photo realism very good but all art and good things take a lot of time, really. Games just seem like they take forever.

5) This is an RPG Maker 2000 game. Out of all the engines out there, RPG Maker 2000. Why? Nostalgia, and simplicity.

6) Expect fairly good writing. Good writing makes a good game.

7) This is surreal. Things make sense and they do not. Expect some weird underlying Christian or Satanic messages or references in this game. I have yet to actually take Legends of Infinite further into a more epic story, and I have even planned many things about Legends of Infinite, the "god" of Infinite is an undead zombie god named the SOUL EATER kinda like Vecna in Stranger Things. I am a Stranger Things fan!

8) Resources are fun. There is RTP used but I didn't go all out. I can make better dungeons when I try though.

9) The RPG Maker 2000 RTP Add on v1.3 is required for this game. You can find it here if you're a n00b: http://2drpg.com/d/rtp132e.zip

The download is finally up after I did last minute testing, I found a bunch of crazies that I had to edit out in certain scenes and game-flow purposes. I have experienced a lot of headaches and a lot of anger even trying to make decent games. RPG Maker definitely has actually made me kind of an angry person. I dunno if that is a common thing with people who make RPG's.

The intension of this game is to get an idea of what my future games might be like if I continue to create games. Upcoming games that may be released overtime, are the following:

TWISTED DESTINY I, II, III, IV, and more
(there are more but not planned out really)
LEGENDS OF INFINITE I, II, III
(which IS this but BIGGER), most likely on RPG Maker 2003
RISE OF DARKNESS
it got a quick release in the old games section then taken down, very ZELDA and DRAGON QUEST-ish
THE DARK DREAMERS
- a very extensive dark an surreal game that I never completed and I actually REALLY liked this one
WORLD WARPERS ENTER THE VOID - A game about warping around the universe, based on comics I did when a young lad
ERDERA THE ELDER WORLDS - Me suffering through Triax 0_0
And a bunch of others like
SCARYMON/ANIMAMON/MONSTERS OF ERDE - Still at qualms with name but originally SCARYMON. 0_0 Yeah I know, like Richard Scary. It was my idea during 5th grade for the next "monster craze" like Pokemon, Digimon, Yugioh, Monster Rancher, Dragon Warrior Monster craze I was literally OBSESSED with Pokemon and Digimon when they came out. Digimon was much more of an actual story though lol

I shouldn't have missed any bugs or weird event codes. If you find anything, email me @ dilpshea@gmail.com, please.

can't make a bad game if you don't finish any games

I don't think you can legally sell RPGMaker 2000 games unless you can actually prove that you purchased a Japanese license for RPG Tkool 2000.
Also, First Seed Material graphics are open source EXCEPT for use in commercial games I believe (although the website no longer exists so I have no idea what the deal is now). You can't use rips either. I'm wondering if you clicked commercial accidentally?

Yeah, thanks Little Wing guy. I uploaded this last night and I probably was going too fast. Thanks for the notice.

downloading and subbing, I like the vibe
I downloaded it about days ago, but can't play it, as it just gives a message "Cannot open file bartender." when I click New Game. Please fix that.
Whoop. I know why. Do you have the RPG Maker 2000 RTP add on?
