Love is in the air...

Welcome to the community game of the week, this time I am talking of RMN: Relationship Maintance Network "Make my Score! It's a little game that was planned for 2015 valentines and released in 2016 as a complete game (still with some extra features to be added).
For once we do not have an rpg or adventure, but a simple game show, anyway despite the shortness of the game there is replayability and a lot of interesting bits.

The first part of the game is choosing our alter ego: you can create one from scratch, choosing appearance and name, OR you may choose one of the popular Rmnrs like Liberty, Kentona, LockeZ, Nessy, Addit, Pianotm and so on.

Uhm... Ooooook, I guess!

Then you became the star of the game: a game show hosted by Liberty... or uhm Slenderman (oh yes!) in which you, oh yes, YOU are the star. And there are three random characters in the other room, chosen among the popular Rmnrs mentioned before.
So what's the game about? Simple: you choose the questions that will be made to the three mysterious candidate and choose the answers you like most or that inspire you. They get one point for each answer aaaaaand... who gets most points wins a dinner with you.
Of course the questions are related to gammak and games and go from What's your best game-centric pick-up line? to Rips, RTP or custom? and even What are your thoughts on the 3-Tile Rule?.

Answers can be serious or funny, but in most case I found them interesting (I mean, you get to know some opinions of preferences of your favourite developers!), even if sometimes it was so difficult to choose (for example I found that all my three candidates loved the Rm2k3 engine, even if saying that in different ways, so... it was not a hard choice).

After you choose all questions and all the answers you liked the game ends revealing the candidate who got most points. If there is a tie there will be a random question to solve the tie and declare the winner. Then thereis a simple and brief cutscene of the dinner together and finally the affinity percentage ... that from what I have learned it's totally random but ooook! Nevermind.

And that's it, the game is all here. There are just two... no wait three maps: the character creation, the studio and the restaurant. I know that there was something more to be added, like for example extra scenes and other playable candidates. Still the game is completed and looks reasonably well made, I like how every character has a different outlook and the map are simple but well done and appropriate to the enviroments rapresented.

I expected I was going to get Frogge (due to the answer about Rm2k3)... but he's not in this game!!!

Final Verdict
This is a really interesting community game from a certain point of view: the answers! Oh yes, this is clearly the most interesting (and consistent) part of the game. Even if one playthrough is 5 minutes at most, I played the game several times, to see the different questions and answers, and figure out who is your match! The soundtrack is also fitting and very good (sounds are appropriate, applause!), my only complain is maybe the lack of extra scenes (the ending is always the same) and extra content (more characters and alter-egos to choose from). For the rest it's a clever and original concept, pretty entertaining if you are a RMN.net regular.

So, if you see this review and you know at least some of the people that populate this little cute game... well try it! It's a simple but unique and funny experience!
