AURORA is an original adventure/horror game, made using RPG Maker VX Ace. It is inspired by the Japanese horror game Ib, Alice Mare and the abstract game Yume Nikki.
In the game you are able to interact with items and NPCs. It is important to pay attention to dialogue and to your surroundings in order to proceed and move on in the game itself. Sound is vital in this game and can help the player move forward as well as provide hints as Aurora herself does not talk much.

This game is not intended for children or those of a nervous disposition and may contain triggering content. Please play with headphones or high audio in a quiet room.

She never understood anything the people around her where saying, the only thing she could make out.

Was the lovely fairy tales her mother told her every morning.

Though it seemed that, as the years passed, the girl grew restless and her mind wondered…

AURORA (UPDATES)

Hey guys! It's been so long since I've updated this page, but I have a few things to say.

After uploading this demo, I acquired many talented team members to help out! Which means the game looks and is much different than it was in the demo I provided. That's an issue, because the demo true end, the 5th end, is actually the lead to the full game and the demo's an important prologue that provides reasons to meeting some characters etc. So the demo is being completely re-done.

All of it.

E V E R Y T H I N G.

The graphics have been updated due to an update in pixel art and a new pixel artist on the team, new important characters have added and there is now an illustrator for the game. All this, because it'll help with development and It's very hard to do it on my own, even if i've improved greatly with everything from the previous demo, the story of the game has even been worked on and greatly improved!

No the demo is not ready yet, I apologize, it should actually come out this summer if we try hard enough.And I can't wait to share the new well, everything with you guys in the upcoming future!

So that's all I wanted to say, screenshots and graphics etc will be updated on this page.

Ib and first and foremost Yume Nikki are some of my favorite RPG Maker games so I'm pretty excited for this. Especially that sound will have an important role in this game appeals to me. So make sure that you get a decent composer for this game or I'll never forgive you °^°

I don't get why some developers of RPG Maker games want voice acting in their game all of a sudden though. Maybe I'm just too old school.

Is AURORA going to be part of HINSHI YUME? Or is AURORA going to be a full game? Because it says 'demo' when I download AURORA. (btw, I already love the game ;) )

Aurora is going to be a full game, and so is hinshi yume, they're just connected XD

I'M PLAYING DEMO 2 AND I CAN'T FIND THE FD DID IT MOVE OR SOMETHING OR AM I BEING SILLY WHERE IS FD? XD

In the west wing and rooms around it there's like a layer of a lighting effect image with no transparency, so like it's just grey. is that supposed to happen cuz when i'm in the west wing I'm just blindly walking about pressing z and stumbling upon save points and the bathrooms.

is it supposed to be like this im sacred

Oh, sorry for the bug. I'm not quite sure what that actually is. I'll be sure to fix it

You know that like random grey thing in the West wing, it seems to disappear if you blindly enter the Psychiatric ward and then leave. I pulled up the old demo next to demo 2 and used that to navigate around the greyness before it disappeared. XD
