KindergarTen - a game about an unsolved murder.

Description: The game takes place at a kindergarten, where the player is a cleaner who discover things, which is helping in the investigation. During the day, the kindergarten is open, so every morning the children are coming, and you must clean up the whole place. The kindergarten closes at 9:00 PM which means you have to be there at 8:50 PM. The game contains 5 nights of cleaning which pay you a reward of 26$ each day. Every night while cleaning, you find more and more information, that could help you solve the mystery of the murder.
Like in any other RPG Maker games the player can control the character (the cleaner) with the arrow keys, and of course the 'enter' or 'space' keys are the action buttons (which are very important in a mystery solving game).

Important: While playing the game be very attentive. I (as the developer) was paying attention to every little piece of the game... any visual or audio sign may mean something that helps you out in your investigation. The other things about the crime, and the background behind it, need to be discovered by the player themselves.
This game is only for 12 years old and above! It contains disturbing sounds and jumpscares.

Hello, I've done a let's play of your entire series.

To be honest, I'm a hard guy to please when it comes to horror games (and I'm not a fun guy at parties, I'll tell you), but please don't be discouraged at my words for they were mostly encouraged by the heat of the moment and what situations the game threw at me.
Cool! :D Nice videos. You should put them into the game's media here.
And also there'll be a 5th part. That will be the final one. :))
Alrighty, I added my first video to the media of your game. I know I wasn't playing it correctly at first, but that's mostly because I thought about the goal rather than the story at the time. However, with the installations of the next games in the series, you made the player have to leave the exit and reduce camping in one spot that will end the night right away.
What I really like about your games is the fact that it's kinda true to how someone would go about to finding something out if they were, say, tossed in a situation like these characters in the game. If I was thrown into a prison without any rhyme or reason, I'd have to explore and find out what happened. Rather than everything being spoon fed to me by just sitting around.
Gradually, I see that you're implementing different characteristics within the creeps that travel around in the map. Would it be possible to add more events, like if the player does something in the game that one of the creeps doesn't like? Perhaps picking up a toy or some kind of object that holds some significance to one of the creeps and they'll get more aggressive?
It's not a bad idea! I started the KindergarTen 5 project about a week ago, and it's really different from the other parts: the game system isn't anymore the same, the player won't need to survive nights, it will be a story game, like a visual novel. (But of course it won't lose the atmosphere and the chases). So yeah, I will probably use your idea.

Cool, glad I can help in any way.
When you're finished with the latest one, I'll play it right away.

Finished the game earlier. It was short, but that works for what it is. I enjoyed playing it and I'll be sure to post my Let's Play of it once it's edited/uploaded. :D

Nice! Yeah I know, the game can be finished in minim. 25 minutes :)) Can't wait to see it.

I'm sorry~ it seem i've mistaken downloaded the one ‘without the runtime package’.
I even uninstalled my RTP 2003(japanese version) to try identify the problem, but when i download the right one that contains runtime package, it worked~
Thank you! I like this game!

No problem! I'm glad that it finally works and I hope you enjoy it. :)

I think if you downloaded the game with the runtime package you don't have to revrite anything in the .ini file.
There can't be any files missing, because the runtime package contains all, and the second game was directly uploaded with the runtime package.
So my opinion is that you should delete all the KindergarTen files from your computer; than download the first game again with the runtime package and install it. If this doesn't works than try to install the RPG Maker 2003, which automatically installs all the RTP files (these are the files in the runtime package) to your computer and the game should run.

Why does the chracter walk so slow? I can't run from "it".
The 'slow walk' is intentional.
The fact that the character walks slow makes the player feel more excited, it increases the fear ambition of the game, the fear of the thought that you can't run away.
Also, the speed is different in every parts of the game (ex: in the third one the player is pretty fast).

After installed, I try to run the RPG_RT.exe, and get this message...I donno why?
There are 2 possibly ways to fix this:

1. The easiest method is to open up the RPG_RT.ini file in notepad or wordpad, and add the following line:

FullPackageFlag=0

2. Download the game which includes the RTP (runtime package), the download link is in the description.

Hope it helped.

I've downloaded the game with runtime package within this link:
http://rpgmaker.net/games/7455/downloads/6733/

and tried adding FullPackageFlag=0 to the RPG_RT.ini file with notepad

Sorry, I still get the same message, but when I try to copy the files from KindergarTen 2 > System2 folder to KindergarTen > System 2 folder, this time I get the different message like this...

I'm thinking maybe there is some files missing within the game folder?
