Yay! Green Blob!
I really liked this scene, and I like the writing. I think it'd go a long way with some visuals. If you got someone to do sloppy hand-drawn image stills when Jimmy learns a new transformation, it might add some good flavor. Maybe have them drawn in crayons, even. :)

Or even better, ms paint pictures by 8 year olds!

That's a great idea, Merlandese. I considered doing something similar with a fade to black and some images popping up, but I decided against it when weighing the time cost of it. I'm pretty good about not cutting corners in the scenes, so I liked having a few scenes where I could just rely on writing for once, haha. I'll still consider it, though; I do like the idea--especially utilizing a more childlike medium like crayons or chalk.

Fun fact: when I first started Jimmy and it was meant to be a much shorter game, almost everything was drawn with crayons (well, the crayon tool in MS Paint...).
I think the pure text format is fine, given it's Jimmy's imagination (and I do like me some prose), but I do feel there's something awkward about the way it's currently handled. Maybe if the screen was totally whited out so we could focus more on Jimmy's thoughts? But maybe that would look too weird and empty.
