Or the fact that it's made out of pine. Balsa wood is much lighter. If it were made out of anything heavier, it would fall into the Milky Way.

He's right. They also have a very thin coffee filter surrounding the ship so any unfiltered radiation that comes shooting their way will be filtered before arriving.

It so reminds me of this...not a bad thing.
