Neat premise and a good idea for the contest. It is tight but varied.
Planet Earth is blue, and there's nothing I can do.
I've been meaning to make something like this for the longest time! Maybe because of Dragon Ball? :p

I have to admit that I'm finding this game rather tedious. The sheer amount of grinding you need to do in order to be successful starts to wear on the player. This only compounded by the fact that certain skills like Armor Break don't appear to work.
I liked the premise, but it seems to be rather grindy and elongated game. I like most of the ideas so far but the fact that I had to leave the very first championship about eight times before i was able to defeat the great goblin or what was the name, was not very welcome.
I may make a review if I will be patient enuf to finish it. So I'm keeping most of my observations for myself for now.

Yeah, this was what I was worried about the most. I didn't finish it quickly enough to give it a rightful playtest so there was a lot of guesswork.

Well, I just published the last two parts of my Let's Play series for this game on youtube if anyone is interested.
On this... just one question .. why the hell give the first boss an ability to stun forever from which you have no possible escape from? :'/

Ugh. time to grind money and get a team member. Or .. get lucky. Which isn't my specialty.
Yep, meatshield took the stun. And stage after cleared in one go. Neat.

I had a real problem with the status effects in this program~ sometimes the % can be really bad. I'm pretty sure I tried to design it to only last for a round or two if it worked...
