Misc: Kick Ass Title Screen on its Way

Anyway, this isn't something which I wanted to mention right away but I can now.

Do you remember when I had to change the title of the game for Super Toaster X ? Well the author of the comic, Aaron Hazouri, is going to draw the title screen for the game. When we were discussing the issue together, he was very easygoing and offered to do some cross-promotion together.

I thought it was a good idea but I didn't really know how to do something like that having never been done before. We we reached an agreement about something which would be beneficial to us both.

I'm very excited to see what he'll come up with to replace the old, not very attractive title screen. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to show his art outside of his website but I didn't read any notice that I couldn't. I figure people would be interested in what he could do so I decided to take some screenshots here and show you what he could do. For more art, check out his website:

This is a cover of one of his comic. I asked Aaron to give a comic book cover to my own title screen, the old vintage kind.

Interestingly, this is what decided me to ask him to do the title screen. I'm a hardcore lover of black and white pencil sketches like those and I really feel like he captured the spirit of the original TMNT. Technically speaking, I think this drawing is also one of his most superior crafts on his website.

He's emailed me to let me know that he would send me some roughs very soon. This is sort of the last rough part of the game that really needs attention so I'm eager to have it done.

I'll probably just share the final version with you guys but it's a pretty important thing so I figured I'd share it with you guys.
