I can help, I am a professional Japanese/English interpreter and translator and I speak the language fluently. :)

That would wayyy too easy for you. I might ask you to proof-read the vocabulary though in the future :).

For instance, would you say that 青い　refers more often to ''blue'' or ''green''?

Aww I would love to test but it may be too easy for me too :/ (though I'm more of an amateur translator than a professional one).

Sure, maybe that would work.
Yes, 青い refers more to blue than green. But in certain cases it can mean green when compounded with other words, e.g 青いりんご means green apple, not blue apple.
If I were to say green, I would use 緑（みどり）
