Robopon and Super Robot Taisen in one ******* great game! Oh what joy!
Ever thought about adding mechanic/genetic bots from Zoids and Keitai Denjū?
I really don't know those games to be frank! ^^
I always wanted to made a robots themed game because I really like Megaman but that's it. I was surprised through my research to find that many Pokémon "clone" with robots. I found some other ones in a game called Medalots.
I have to check out the games you are talking about, maybe I came accross them already, even if the complete list of Simurions has been finished (and it was so painful to complete it that I doubt editing it all over again but who knows..) :)

Thank you!!

EDIT : oh yes, I know them both. I even played the second long ago. Zoids are pretty badass but hard to use because of their huge scale. I planned using one of them as a legendary Simurion but it did'nt make the cut. Mmh, now, maybe I want to reconsider. ;)
I love robot-themed monster catching RPGs! Kudos to you for making this beautiful gem. Meanwhile I'll continue my search for old games that contain small, usable robot sprites. You don't have to apply any them because I know how painful it is to edit EVERYTHING, they're mere suggestions. You can always check Digimon (see Steel Empire for mechanical monsters, the third DS game has plenty to rip) and Mugenborg on GBA.

Yeah, come to think of it, Zoids are too darn big. As for Medabots, I recommend using sprites from Medabot Navi because the bots are in smaller scales (the game itself sucks though).

BTW, are tradional elements wind and earth present in the game? Or more science fictional approaches like chemical and kinetic? Just asking.
Don't worry I take a lot of advices but I won't scrap my plans. I've found a nice Zoid one which can be easily swapped for another one in my official list. ;)
I'll check the other games too.

As for "Elements", here they are : Fire, Water, Electric, Nature, Plasma, Magnetic, Dark, Light.
And there's as well "Types" (which aren't damage multipliers but how a Simurions grows and be customized) : Mechanical, Hybrid, Genetic.

So you can see, there's a mix of very classical choice and some new ones.

Thank for you support!!

Good for you! Must be difficult to find considering how aged the games are. The list of Simurion is gonna be gorgeous~!

Eagerly awaits the customization system! I wonder how Hybrid bots "evolve" over time. A mix of classical elements and novel ones keeps things fresh.

Good luck making the game! ^ ^
