Thank you for reading this page. Currently the download for Binding Wyrds is the character test version. This means the game is nowhere near completed, but is instead intended to be tested for character and mission balance. As such, there are several major features missing from the game, and artwork is only RTP at the moment. This is not intended to be a reflection of the final product in its entirety. Below are some major topics to cover, and any questions that get asked that I feel will also need clarified will be added to this page.

Q: Art!

...is currently entirely RTP. While I am in discussion with an artist to provide art for Binding Wyrds, currently everything in the game right now are placeholders. Any comments about sprites, monster art, tilesets not fitting, etc, are not helpful at the moment. Every map, character sprite, monster image and the like will eventually be changed.

Q: Too many characters!

...is the point. Later releases will focus on adding the tactical part of the game, as well as permadeath and the like, but currently they will not benefit the stage of testing the game is in. Once more missions are added, and features added, the amount of characters will make sense.

Q: Features in, features out, you can't explain that!

Currently in game, are the following features:
-A lot of characters, each with unique skills/upgrades.
-Item Crafting.
-Researchable upgrades.
-Over a dozen missions.

Later, the following are on the table to be added:
-Character assignments to Bureaus.
-More refined mission unlocking/sequencing (Currently they are all unlocked from the start).
-Perma-death.
-Character Story events/arcs.
-Major Story arcs.
-Turns, affecting recovery and mission failure.

Q:What features are temporarily in for testing purposes?
-Death is not permanent. A character can be recovered in the green circle at home base.
-The red circle at home base will fully level every character, and give max resources and items for crafting.
-The testing arena has a few boss fights, and every encounter in the game otherwise for constant battle testing.

Q:I tested your game, and...
While comments and reviews are typically how RMN handles this sort of thing, I would prefer more details. What did you think about certain characters, did you figure out what their theme was? Was there anyone you hated, someone you'd always have in your party, was a mission way too hard, etc.

There is a full tester form here. Messaging it to me, linking, however you'd like would be greatly appreciated. In compensation, when the game reaches commercial release, any testers who filled out the form will receive a free copy of the game.
