Game didn't do as well as I would have liked. I'm glad that some people played it and got enjoyment out of it, that's more or less all I wanted anyway. I know there were people who didn't seem to enjoy the dialogue or characters, they tell me the dialogue is long and boring and that they skip it all. I did spend a lot of time on it and it has been and always will be a personal project that I work on in my spare time. I'm not an artist, so I have very little creative freedom. I pretty much have to use the characters and artwork I've been given, and yet people still complain about that which is disheartening. Not only that but there is no built in word checker so when you have massive amounts of dialogue you will miss some typos, you can bring up spelling mistakes and I will fix them, but don't act condescending about it. All in all the game didn't do as well as I hoped, but that's ok, I'm still proud of what I made and I'd like to finish the story out eventually but I don't know when.

I have other projects I'd rather work on such as a pen and paper RPG that I can play with friends.



The game has been updated with some big changes.

--------- INTRO CHANGES ---------
-Larz gives a tutorial on fighting in Valan instead of explaining about the local moonsters
-A starter pack of 5 minor health, and 5 minor mana potions

--------- MONSTER & BOSS ----------
-Removed 4 monster encounters. Maximum amount of monsters (Non-Boss) is now 3
-Mimics now give gear and are easier
-Monsters give more gold and exp and are easier
-Chance to inflict status ailments for normal monsters reduced from 50% to 15%
-Most lightning attacks have 15% chance of Weak Paralysis
-Chance to inflict status ailments for bosses reduced from 100% to 45%
-Bosses give more gold and exp and are easier

-Ifrit's Chasm board count reduced from 16 to 9
-Shiva's Palace board count reduced from 16 to 9
-Mount Rammuh board count reduced from 16 to 9 and caves from 7 to 3

--------- BATTLES & MOVES ----------
-Gaurd is viable (reduces all damage recieved by 70%)
-Karnac learns Axe Throw at lvl 10 to deal Penetrating damage
-Jack learns Heated Shot at lvl 15 to deal Fire damage
-Buffed heal from 50 base to 100 base healing
-Buffed heal 2 from 150 to 250 base healing
-Poisoned edge chance to apply weak poison changed from 50% to 100%
-Venom Soaked edge chance to apply poison changed from 50% to 100%
-Healing wave buffed from 100 to 150 base
-Raise 1 buffed from 15% HP to 25% HP restored
-Buffed Prayer from 20% to 25% MP restored
-Buffed White Wind from 200 to 250 base health restored
-Buffed Healing Wave 2 from 200 to 250 base HP restored
-Buffed Raise 2 from 25% to 50% HP restored
-Resurrect cost reduced from 75 TP to 50 TP
