You can jump over any one tile gap. Make sure to explore as thoroughly as you can!

Got any Dexreth amulets?

That looks like it will be a really cool mechanic to play around with. The potential of simple actions like jumping is explored way too rarely in RPGs.

I like what you've done with the size and design of the character graphics, too. It looks much less silly than the default character size. (Though I can't help but feel like some parts of it, especially the hair, clash a bit with the RTP. Don't take my word for it, though - I'm not good at art even in theory.)

I would recommend changing or getting rid of some of those shadows, though. They seem very out of place.

Sir Redd of Novus: He who made Prayer of the Faithless that one time, and that was pretty dang rad! :D

Thanks! Yeah, I had always wondered why more games didn't play around with additional movement options. It's not shown here because I haven't finished the sprites for it yet, but you can also climb certain walls, ropes, etc. Think Golden Sun if you've ever played that. It also helps me overcome my natural mapping weakness, since I always struggle with aesthetics, but have little to no trouble making things for players to do.

I appreciate the comment on the characters! I agree about progressing from the chibi style, though I'd like to go back to it one day. I'll look into the clashing complaints. Aeyr's sprite was actually the first one I did, so it's probably going to look a bit more basic than everyone else's.

Are you talking about the autoshadows? Yeah, I can get rid of those.

The shadows in the water are the ones that immediately struck me as being misplaced. Your mapping has improved though Red. This doesn't look bad at all.
