The most important rule of all is to be careful of who you trust.
Delve into a world of madness known as Wonderland - a world that's not for the faint of heart.
Solve puzzles, talk to the sane and not so sane Residents of the Heart Territory, and uncover the history of this world as you try to navigate through areas such as the Tulgey Woods and the Duchess' Palace to reach home.

This game features:
*An affection system which will determine your ending
*4 endings and multiple ways to die
*A world based on Lewis Carrol's Wonderland
*Two possible candidates to aid you in your journey
- Each have a set of optional areas you can explore in
- They'll also provide you with different sets of dialogue and banter
*Tons of parallax maps to explore in
*Multiple ways to complete the quests given to you
*1-2 hours of game play on the first Act alone.
The full game may be up to 4 hours.

- Be warned. The game does feature dark and possibly touchy topics. -
- There is no combat in this game. -

This is a slight puzzle based game in a dark fantasy setting.
It has elements of a visual novel, as well.(Otome elements)

Alice: The 1st Story [First Half Released]

I've decided to release basically the first portion of the game.
I'm unsure if I'll be releasing the second half any time soon as I haven't been working on it, and I didn't like the overall quality of what I made for it.
Completion time depends on what path you take (1-2 hours).

The second act I may work on in the future, but as of now this will be the only thing available for now.

If there are any bugs, please let me know so I can update the game.
A big thanks to FamedKilljoy for testing Mori's route.

Keep in mind the download does not contain RTP data.

I had a good time with this until it said there was a missing picture (Alice Frown) and crashed. Very upsetting honestly I want to know the rest of the story.

Apologies for that then!
Do you remember where the crash happened?

It happened just as I left the Rabbit's house there was a cut scene and it crashed with that error. I'm going to try reinstalling the game and see if it didn't install correctly. Hopefully that will fix it because, I really enjoy this story.

Edit: Still crashed Unable to find file:

Graphics/Pictures/Past Niya Frown
Wasn't sure where to post the bugs, so I hope this is the right place.
Enjoying the game so far, but found a few interesting bugs (or maybe Easter Eggs? :P) in Melinda's Bookstore. :P

Started with this...

Which led to this...

Which gave me free reign over the map! >:D

Doesn't seem to be game-breaking and is kinda funny, to be honest. :D

Thank you for reporting that! I've fixed it now.
I'll be uploading a new demo of the game once I finish debugging it.

Not entirely sure but there's a small(?) chance that the other route isn't bugged.
You'll have to answer to the flower differently and enter the left gate.
If that's also bugged then I apologize.

Your map breaking days are over! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Bug fixed. Thank you for reporting that.
Hopefully there won't be any more map problems (I doubt it).

I belive I am stuck on what seems to be the game's second puzzle...The one with the spirit things and the house? could you give a hint? maybe a spoilered solution too?

The story is not in order.
Figure out how many people/characters are left at the end of each wisp's story.
Numbers used are only from 1-3.
OH! I was trying to put the story in the correct order! I'm a derp
Okay I still can't do It, I've resorted to brute forcing it, But This is...ridiculous...could you please just tell me the answer, I'm getting a migraine.

I have an outdated walkthrough.
It should help you along with the rest of the demo if you get stuck again.
Answer is also in there.

...OH THEY AREN'T IN ORDER! That...might have been something I needed to know...Well thanks for responding so quickly.
...Now for some reason I can't seem to make the crown of tulips, and bunny or whatever won't even respond to me trying to talk to him.
Okay, dumb question but I can't find Nayu anywhere! I think I checked all around the town in the places I could but maybe I missed him. Where is he supposed to be?

There's a new version of the game out where you should be able to do that.
In your version, you're forced to kill the Daisy by finding the Weed Killer.

If you're playing the new version, you won't be able to find him at all in the town. The townspeople only mention that they last saw him in the woods.

Ahh. I'm so dumb. xD It was stressing me out so much cuz the game looks so good and I really wanted to play it but now I can. Thanks for responding so quick. c:

Edit: Also, help with the flame puzzle pleease?? I know you have a walkthrough and I'm not sure if it applies to the new version but if it does, I don't understand the flame bit.

The walkthrough still applies. The story has to be put in the right order first.
One you know the order, figure out how many living characters remain at the end of each wisp's story. There is no 0 in the solution; only numbers are from 1-3.
I love Alice, and I love everything in this game! It's just a demo but I already find it so much fun! Plus I love the otome elements. There's a lot I want to say but I don't know how to say it, I just know that this makes me super happy and that I wanna play more of it!
