Note: This is a restoration of the developer’s first small venture into RPG creation. Please take it as such, rather than a full representation of their ambitions as a content creator.

Your name is Nat. You wake up every morning to the sky being blank and the very notion of birds ridiculous. You go to school and recite your pledge to his lord the Mancer, not quite knowing if your god even exists. Welcome to Crypta Civitatem, an entirely artificial sancturary created from the very code the universe is written in.

CustomCode is a short, experimental sci-fi adventure set in the confines of a coded world, following the protagonist through her discoveries that everything in the city might not be quite as it seems. With new graphics and repaired puzzles and sequences, the game takes you through the story of the dimension's rise and fall, and a small window into the lives of the people who live within it. Created with the belief that random encounters are tiresome and aren't what makes an RPG, fighting sequences are minimal and only appear logically in the plot, while the rest of the gameplay centres on exploration and storytelling.

The game is anywhere from an hour to two hours long, and features:

• Original tilesets
• Original sprites
• Original dialogue busts
• Original battler graphics
• Simple, original music
• Mostly original sound effects

Warnings for cursing, mild blood, and flashing images. The game, while chronologically taking place after the developer’s other experiment, Infinity Expanse, can be played before or after, due to the nature of the interlinking plots.

I just finished it. The story may having been a little too fast paced, but it is understable since it was your first game. Also you are definitely getting better were it comes to bug free games.
My only suggestion would be adding a reset option in this puzzle.

Can't wait for whatever you are going to do next!

Thank you for following my games as closely as you have, i'm very thankful for it! :) I'll take that suggestion into account. And yes, unfortunately some things like pacing I tried my best to fix but there's a certain point where the source material becomes limiting. Thanks again for playing!

Get lost, "heroes"! The damsels got this covered.

So you actually did remake this game. Neat! I'll take a look at this soon, then.
