Generic RM2k3 RTP Gaming Fun!

I always wanted to make that game based on everything I enjoyed as a kid. This is the end result.

Hero's Realm creates a super-synergy of proactive features to create a gaming experience greater than the sum of its parts.

Lead four heroes and their teams against the evil forces of Mephistocles, the Lord of Demons in this retro-RPG adventure. Toggle between the four heroes as you explore dungeons, ascend towers, spelunk caves, save villages and defeat the forces of evil! Reminiscent of classic RPGs such as Dragon Quest III and Final Fantasy V, Hero's Realm is a fun romp in old-school RPG nostalgia.

-22 character classes (12 base classes, 4 hero classes, 3 secret classes, 3 master classes)
-TONS of game content and sidequests
-Classic NES-era and SNES-era RPG gameplay
-Great music
-Multi-party switching system (like Kefka's Tower in FFVI!)
-Multi-party tactical battles (at least 5 of them!)
-Massive world map
-Fun

The story is split into 5 chapters, with each of the first four chapters focusing on a new hero, and the 5th chapter bringing them all together.

Chapter 1: Won't Somebody Please Think of the Children?
Chapter 2: There is Something Fishy Going on...
Chapter 3: Land of the Rising Son
Chapter 4: True Calling
Chapter 5: The War on Terror

Hi

Enjoying your game, though stuck now. Can't figure out how to find the Nobles or to make the Pirate Captain talk to me..
the pirate captain won't speak to you in ch. 3, iirc. You have to win the first round (or two?) of the Kumite to get invited to the nobles, I think. Its been a while...

Can you be more specific as to where you're at?
ah okay, I didn't think I could fight before I had talked to the sponsor:)
So uh, I never really got round to playing this the first time I downloaded it for some reason. Then, out of nowhere, I chose to open up RM2k3 again (I believe because of the event currently going for Halloween) and figured I should give the game a play.

... I am so damn glad I chose to. This game is even better than some of the commercial games I've played on actual consoles; Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy - the like. I knew this game was supposed to be incredible as it's now gained over 17k downloads (congratulations for that, by the way), but I never expected it to be this good! Kentona, you amaze me.
I can't believe legionwood passed this game in downloads.
I can't believe this game got as many downloads as it did! I am glad you like the game, dezz. Thanks for the kudos.
Wow the Super Ghouls and ghosts music in the osaka well really caught me off guard. I love it
Alright two more fanboy shoutouts. Hell yes to the price is right music in the fun house. And a holy crap to using Raj Ahtan from the Runelords, that was amazing. I thought I was the only one who read that series :P
One of these days I will compile the extensive list of rip offs and references used in this game. (Runelords was great, by the way! What a neat idea)

I know, it had one of those magic systems that just blew me away. It was Sanderson worthy, if you don't mind the comparison.
I've just discovered this little gem and i swear, i'd play the hell out of this on my NES
i have 1 quick request, i've been at it for a couple of days now but can't, for the life of me, find tiny medal #19, a little help please
Hi,

Just thought I'd inform you that I've begun a Let's Play of Hero's Realm on my channel. I recall asking your permission maybe two years ago, which you gave, but my ability to LP was continually delayed. I'm starting up again and decided to use Hero's Realm as my first new game!

Cool beans. Please feel free to submit your LP as media to the gameprofile here!
I'm thinking of maybe holding off on that for now at least. I'm uploading one video per day whilst backlogging a fair amount (4 currently up, 17 currently recorded,) eventually intending to increase daily uploads once I have enough ready.

I'll post it to the profile once there's a more sizable amount watchable.
As a general rule of thumb, we usually recommend 5 videos per LP media submission (for longer multi-video LPs). So! If you have 5 ready to go, submit them!
I might go with 7 videos since mine are generally 10-13 minutes as opposed to 20 or more, and I plan on one upload a day for now so with 7 I could make it a regular weekly posting - which would start this time tomorrow.
Just started playing this game. It did quite good with the job selection and I am having fun playing it. Got surprised though with the Balthalas Boss BGM. Isn't that from Final Fantasy VIII random battle BGM?
Oh probably. I used clips from several different sources (and a lot of the time, I didn't even know it was from a popular RPG! I didn't play all that many PS-era RPGs, since I didn't have a PS)
Hi there people.

I'm having a but of trouble getting what I assume is the first elfstome you can get in the game, whixh from what I've seen of Deckiller's LP is the green elfstone, which gives you Daredevils.

Anyways according to the FAQ, it's here:

1. In the Pit of Peril (visible in Chapter 1) - on an island just west of Norsland. There is a separate teleportal room in the Norsland Shrine locked by a magic door. After getting the Magic key, use the teleportal to get to the island.

The problem however is that I can't figure out how to get to the island. Where exactly is this said teleportal?

Thank you for your time.
