Generic RM2k3 RTP Gaming Fun!

I always wanted to make that game based on everything I enjoyed as a kid. This is the end result.

Hero's Realm creates a super-synergy of proactive features to create a gaming experience greater than the sum of its parts.

Lead four heroes and their teams against the evil forces of Mephistocles, the Lord of Demons in this retro-RPG adventure. Toggle between the four heroes as you explore dungeons, ascend towers, spelunk caves, save villages and defeat the forces of evil! Reminiscent of classic RPGs such as Dragon Quest III and Final Fantasy V, Hero's Realm is a fun romp in old-school RPG nostalgia.

-22 character classes (12 base classes, 4 hero classes, 3 secret classes, 3 master classes)
-TONS of game content and sidequests
-Classic NES-era and SNES-era RPG gameplay
-Great music
-Multi-party switching system (like Kefka's Tower in FFVI!)
-Multi-party tactical battles (at least 5 of them!)
-Massive world map
-Fun

The story is split into 5 chapters, with each of the first four chapters focusing on a new hero, and the 5th chapter bringing them all together.

Chapter 1: Won't Somebody Please Think of the Children?
Chapter 2: There is Something Fishy Going on...
Chapter 3: Land of the Rising Son
Chapter 4: True Calling
Chapter 5: The War on Terror

Here is the pub in Dracoma.

The waitress blocks your way!... by day.

Wait until nightfall.

Go back and sneak in behind and snag that medal from the barrel!

hello, i'm missing one last coin and i cant find out where it is?

i used your list of locations and went to all the places.

but no luck.

hmmmm... the only way for me to find out which one is missing (or find out where the bug is in my game) is to look at your savefile. Can you upload it somewhere and PM me a link so I can look?

Thanks.

DQ8 didn't hook me either. I found it kind of boring. My wife finished it though so I saw her beat it.

Just wondering, is 1.5 the finale version? I would love to see a bonus content area like after completing the game, something similar to Dragon Quest 8 were there's an optional area, with a secret boss that's 10x harder than the actual final boss

I never did get very far in DQ8.

You should know though that I do not care for "post-game" content in a general sense. Why isn't it just in the game? The final boss should be the final boss. There was never a plan or intent for post-game. Sorry.

But to answer your question, yes 1.5 is the current final version and has been for years (despite there being a good handful of unresolved bugs).

Do we have to have 2003 to play this game?

You shouldn't have to, but if you do run into trouble, let me know.

There have been reports of some people who are running Windows 8 being unable to play any RM2k3 games, though.

Good luck!
