In a distant kingdom, in the quite castle city of Hicksville, there lives a brave Brightblade knight known as.. well.. whatever you name him.
And he must embark on a journey to SAVE THE WORLD!!
Or... something like that.. (Full disclosure: it's a challenge just to journey out your front door)
(It has a trailer, too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFar0KaePeU )
"What The Hell??!!" is (probably) the only game where you can destroy the entire world from a inside a tavern. Or depopulate the royal navy by making the wrong decision. Or get to the end-credits within 90 seconds of starting.
It's a game about choices, where your choices matter.
Yes, a lot of games promise that, but not every game asks the question: Should you roast your head in the fireplace or not?
WARNING: This game has been reasonably described by my beta-testers (aka ex-friends) as "extra-strength stupid" and should not be played by anyone with a sense of humor that's evolved past that of a grade-schooler.
Listen to these actual quotes from real people who have actually played this game:
"Oh @$%* you."
-CallmeDoc
"Welp, I think I think I'm done playing this."
-Austin (ex-friend)
"Why do you keep making these?! What the hell is wrong with you?!"
-Arashi(former roommate)
"Exploration has never been that hilarious!"
-Moarv (probably insane)
THIS, TOO, CAN BE YOU!!
---------------
All conjecture aside, the game is not to be taken too seriously.
It's ostensibly an Rpg with Randomly-Generated Dungeons, but combat isn't going to be the main focus of the quest. It's mostly about exploring the world, and exploring the different paths each encounter can go, and just how many different ways you can see the Game Over screen.
Word to the wise: Save Frequently.
