In a certain galaxy in the universe there is a certain planet called Panquesito.
This planet is home to all kinds of creatures; sentient, inanimate, and hostile. One such species are the Panes, a peaceful, intelligent group of creatures who think like you and me. Our story is about a member of said species: Pantito.
Pantito is your average Pan, he has a little house in the middle of a grassy knoll and enjoys watching TV when the weather is just right. One day, Pantito is about to do just that when he hears someone knock at the door! Who could it be?
Made for the No-RM Event, this game is a short and challenging shoot-em-up that calls back to NES titles such as Gradius, TaleSpin and Life Force with a twist. You play as Pantito as he sets out to defend his planet from alien invaders! With dangerous levels and relentless difficulty, your reflexes and ability to mash buttons will surely be put to the test. Can you make it to the end?
- An original musical score will accompany you as you battle!
- Three merciless levels!
- 15 different enemy types!
- Powerups and collectibles!
- Three fearsome bosses!
- Lots of lives! (You shall need them all, and more!)
1.- Take the SuperPantito folder out of the RAR file.
2.- Open the SuperPantito folder and execute SuperPantito.exe
NOTE: Do not move SuperPantito.exe out of the folder.

This is going to look good, but i do have Game Maker: Studio too, i want to learn some GML, do you know where i can learn in the first step?
Hello! Sorry for not replying before but i was working hard in the game in order to launch it on the promised day. It was tough but here it is at last!
In case i'm wrong and the GML is the same as it was in previous versions, you should check out The Begginners Guide to GML Programming, it's a great and free guide that includes everything you need to know about GML's begginner phases. You'll then be able to learn the rest by practicing and reading the manual.
The yoyogames community forums is also filled with people willing to help out whenever you're stuck with something. Worst case scenario feel free to PM me although i'm not very good at it, i'm like, a novice.

The characters are really cute. Kinda reminds me of the 3DS settings mascot.

I played through a bit of it. Still playing. Will update with new videos as I go. This started at about my 5th try. It was about the 3rd try when I discovered that spamming "x" was better than holding it down. But I'm gonna review this game when I'm finished, so I'll save those comments for later, suffice to say that I liked this game.
Edit: There are 3 other videos of the game on my channel at the moment. This game is challenging! Maybe I'll splice them all together at the end. I haven't finished yet. -_-

I added 3 more videos to the Media submission I gave for this page. I almost beat the final boss! He had just 22 hits left.
Did you manage to beat it? I haven't seen the videos you submitted because i don't have internet at home at the moment.

This is surprisingly decent for being made in a month. It's certainly a lot more than I get done in that kind of time frame.
Honestly, having to mash is the primary flaw. There's a reason that shit has been almost completely purged from the genre.
I never reach 40+k when i play. You must be very skilled.
I apologize for the inconvenience. I sincerely didn't know mashing had been removed from the genre because i stopped playing shmups fter the snes came out. So my knowledge is limited to nes shmups.
But anyway, i think i like mashing. It's only really necessary for bosses and crowded sections of the level.

I doubt skill had anything to do with it :P I think I probably just got lucky with the power-up/extra life drops, assuming those give you points.
I'd also decided to just camp the top of the screen at the moon boss, since chasing the orb down to shoot it wasn't working out for me. Shooting the missile guys that spawned up there probably boosted the score as well.

Yeah, I get that. I actually do like mashing in short spurts, like in Mega Man games (which I've been playing a lot of lately, so my thumb might be a bit sensitive lol) or R-Type. Since I didn't really know what enemies were coming, I just mashed the whole game while sweeping up and down, which in retrospect was pretty excessive! Oh well, better safe than sorry.

I did the same thing, except I don't ever play shooters, so I didn't even know this was expected! For the first couple rounds, I just held it down, and I wondered why it was so difficult, until I realized that mashing was better than holding it down. Overall I enjoyed this game. It's a pity that I'm too tired at the moment to write a review. I don't feel motivated either. Nevertheless, this game is fantastic and oozes quality. It's one of my favourite RMN games of this year. Review forthcoming. Maybe. Hopefully.

Been holding off on playing this for various reasons but i look forward to playing! Pantito is very cute character!

I suck at these games so cheats will help as saves :D
Not bad actually! The space background makes it harder to recognize the enemy fire but I do suck at these games.
