Please be advised !

Because of one guy or maybe some people, stealing my demo and pretending to be the owner. I'm not so sure to release more stuff here unprotected.

Name: Rydwha (staff of suikoden 2.5 facebook/ suikoden another stories)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LmElup_VmY&feature=youtu.be

I know he didn't say anywhere that it is from him in any ways. But!!! He can't just post a video of it without my permission.PLUS he added a download link to it!

I was completely aware that releasing an open source project(no protection) could go wrong like this. If you steal it and have fun creating other stuff just for YOURSELF, never pretending to be the creator, I don't !?%&%@! mind!

I've put so much time and efforts(hundreds of hours) on this project. That only thing u need, is a decrypter and 5 mins to waste .... to steal others. Well it is inexcusable !!! (In my book)

I'm an open guy, open to any help ! Why don't you just ask me ?!

To say to me that I'm already taking suikoden 2 graphics, I know that already guys I put ALL copyrights to Konami, the real owner of this game. But rpgmaker.net is a community with good people and honest people willing to help others!
Hi WorldDoubleFace. ♥

yeah, something like this happened to me awhile ago with the itch.io malware thing I mentioned awhile back:

People usually steal the hard work of others, simply because they can, even with fan created works. It's just sort of the reality of producing and creating content online. I've had it happen many times before with other projects of mine not related to rpgmaker. The only thing you can really do in situations like this, is to keep a watchful eye out for your own work and report it once you see it happen.

I'm not too familiar with Facebook, but for Youtube, what you can do is simply flag the video for copyright infringement, with a link back to your gamepage on RMN or even links to your own videos of Suikoden - A New Destiny and this will have the video taken down - I've done this before in the past, with a message to youtube saying, "I'm the original creator of this fan created work, I did not give permission to this person to upload a video of my work or claim it as their own" and this has worked.

Keep us posted on this issue.
Videos are allowed to be posted of others' works on youtube without their permission - most LPs do this after all. It is pretty hinky that he didn't link back to the proper page/give credit and added his own download link.

We're looking into it.
Yeah this guy has contacted me before about the Suikoden scripts I was working on at one time, I think either on FB or YouTube. Never answered him. Seems like I made the right choice.
