Only thing bothering me about this are the awkward square corner shadows in the lower right corner of those cliff tiles. Otherwise this is stellar as always.

Yeah, without the autoshadows it kind of looks weird. An edit might be in order.

Yay it looks way better!

And Archeia, your avatar matches your post perfectly.
The middle parts of the cliff walls don't seem to go hand in hand with the upper edges. It's alright otherwise.

The shadows cast by the sun should be much sharper. In general, sun shadows, especially long ones like those, are very crisp and well-defined. For instance:
@Sailerius I would normally agree but when I played the game with that much amount of contrast it didn't 'feel good' to play so I subdued them a lot more. That and it honestly doesn't look really nice with the RTP's shapes. It's a conscious design decision is what I would like to say at least :o
Sometimes you have to fudge what would look good in real life so that it fits within the style of the game. If it doesn't fit the style, then it's best to adjust it so it does or remove it altogether. A case could be made for either option, but I think they look okay adjusted like that to better fit the style.

A lot of the time when I see shadows in RPG Maker games they're so obnoxiously in your face that it's hard to see the details around them. In comparison, this style's a lot better, though I'd lighten the screen tint a little, personally. It's a little too yellow for me. That's personal preference, though. XD

(Also, hid that image for you, sail - it was pretty huge. Next time remember we have hide tags for bigger images~ ^.^ )
