A young orphan who has been raised with the princess of Villiam since childhood. S/he is her personal knight and can be fiercely protective of her. Ashe was found in the Reiha Forest nine years ago and has no memories of his/her life before then. Choices in behavior and dialogue can make him/her brave, loyal, cowardly, distrusting, or many other options. S/he has an extremely rare magical trait called Auramancy. This ability enables Ashe to use his/her vitality to power incredibly powerful spells, or to reverse the process and regenerate at uncanny speeds. This ability also gives Ashe a huge appetite, rivaling that of a dozen men combined.
Merinda
Age: 19

The sovereign of the kingdom of Villiam, this kind young princess is strong-willed and kind. Her sheltered upbringing has left her a little bit clueless about life outside the castle though. Both she and Ashe were raised by the Chancellor, who has been the closest thing either one of them has to a father. She can't stand to see someone in need, and will go out of her way to help. This sometimes gets her into trouble, mostly because she can be a bit gullible when it comes to people who need help. Merinda suffers from a curse that will kill her if she ever runs out of magic power. Because of this, she sometimes overuses her magic and passes out.

Class: Scholar
Main Element: Earth
The acting regent of Villiam and father-figure to Ashe and Merinda. Though wise and knowledgeable, he can be very stubborn. He can be quite hard on Ashe, and will scold him/her for any perceived wrongdoing. He is surprisingly servile when it comes to the Princess’ orders though.
Kileve
Age: 16
Sex: Male

Class: Warrior
Main Element: Wind
A wanderer living on his own, Kileve is street-savvy and smart. He can be kind of impulsive though, and tends to get a little carried away with his own ideas. He found Li-Lin's egg as a young boy, and the two are nearly inseparable. His entire village, including his parents and sister, were killed in a magical accident four years ago. Because Li-Lin was his only friend for quite a while after that, Kileve can be a little protective of him.
