Red Book: Discordia tales is total remake game of a puzzle horror-adventure game made by NewbieMaker(old nickname). This is my 2nd released game after 3 years.

Inspired from the game The Witch's House. It was also inspired from different fairytales which has very dark endings. Each puzzle portrays the origin of the fairytales.

The game is more focused on exploration and puzzle-solving.
There are no battles and the story is a little bit vague.
Same as the old game, It has only one ending.

Play as Alice as she tries to get out from the dark world by an unknown entity.

I just wanted to ask something.
Does this game contain exceedingly loud sound fx? There's a number of games i can think of that literally blows your fucking speakers with extremely high death screams/monster attack sounds.

Hi there, BlueNinjNeko

I tested my game for about a year and I always use speakers also
just set your volume to moderate and that would be fine.
monster sounds only happens on chase scenes with background music.
so its not screeching to much. and I guess I only used one death scream.
I made a warning and attention guide as a part of the introduction
Sound may add as hints for the puzzle
Just dont go max volume.

I think it has to do with the VX ACE RTP
go to the RGSS3 Folder and install the VL Gothic Font.

Or google Vl Gothic font and download it maybe?
If not, it may be caused if you do not have the rpg maker vx ace rtp installed.

This is just a remainder for myself. that i did not play this and chose not to because its apparently a depressing game. and that's not what i play games for.

so basically i have only started, (and dunno yet what will the actual game be like xD) but i have to write this, so far it is SO GORGEOUS *___* that purple-black sky is just wow wow wow and the letters on it go so well with it and the frame makes it so elegant and basically it is 3 am, so sorry if this is weird xD

After I got the heart from the wolf, and exchanged it with the one in the coffin, nothing happened? When I checked my inventory, I still had the wolf's heart.
