As you all may know, I've been working on the sequel to Monster Hunt. I found the stories between them didn't make much sense and that monster hunt is easily overshadowed. So at some point I'm going to do a Major update to this game.

Here's a list of features I want to add.

-Updated menu (Make it the same menu as the sequel)
-Update all character designs to better match their sequel's look
-Much smoother story
-Menu portrait's for each character
-Remove secret characters and instead make the four main characters have more customization
-Add back in the cut dungeon (Mines)
-Possibly add more enemies, items, weapons etc

Here is a sneak peak of Rebecca's new look along side her look in the sequel

Really I have never experienced any glitch in that shop?, I'll go back and take a look when I get the chance, perhaps I changed something.

The arena, I haven't even tested to see if it worked! I'm glad it does and the over leveling is for the final boss. He is the only enemy I didn't alter to make him easier. I'll have to look at the leveling maybe lower experience gain.

The laboratory is outside the apartments to the right.

thanks for the feedback :)

I got as far as I could before I was forced to stop. It was fun, but along the way I cam accross some pretty major issues.

First of all: there is a building East of Kathrin's house that you can not leave, some "Mystery Shop" place.

Second: if you get hit by a moving boulder it's instant game over, you won't be able to move and the boulder will just keep damaging you over and over again until all your party members die. This is extremely annoying given that you can not save in the 2nd dungeon.

Third: The graves only seem to be intereactable with from the left, which is weird considering that they are all facing forward.

Fourth: 400-500 gold is rather hefty price for a Mines ticket given that there are no enemies here to speak of, and you are immediately told to go back to town and goto the Lab.

Fifth: The lab itself just seems to come to a dead end. I got as far as the 3rd area of the lab, with the hospital beds, and the toilets, and the sewer water and the yellow warning sign. There is a crack in the wall in the very top west corner, but it doesn't seem to do anything, in fact, nothing in the lab seems to be interactive other than the sign at the very front pointing you towards to testing area. Either there is no way to progress from here, or I couldn't find where to go because I was too busy getting gang banged by encounters from all sides. This is why I hate "visible encounters".
-I looked at the mystery shop and had fixed it (I put in a conditional branch to prevent lag and it blocked the way out)

-I lowered the boulders damage from 500 to 100 (Sorry about the saving I had to disable it because it would delete your save while in the dungeon but there is a room where you can save it's to the left of the second part in the temple.)

-The graves seem fine to me. Not all of them where clickable though, I'm fixing that

-It's expensive because you get very good items in the mine (you could sell them and get around 4000)

-There is a giant floating thing in the bathroom that is impossible to miss as for the visible encounters that won't be changed, There are ways to avoid them I've tested it in every level at the very least it is very easy to escape)

Thanks for playing and the feedback :) I'll implement these changes in the next update.
I came back to the game and unfortunately the giant floaty thing isn't there.

I had a think about it and I may have accidentally loaded up an earlier save, causing me to never speak to the fairy and never activate this part of the story. The dialogue still played when I entered the lab, which would have thrown me off. I'll check this out later tonight.
ok, i'll take a look into this issue as well thanks.
I enjoy the game so far. The battles are pretty ballanced in the way you may die if you choose a wrong strategy, but on the other hand, if you find one, they aren't too lenghty. I played several times an RPG where with the game proceeding the battles with non-boss enemies were becoming tediously long, which discouraged me from from finishing them. This game isn't the case.

But unfortunately, I encountered a bug which prevents me from proceeding further in the game.
It's in the temple with traps, when I return there in the "realm of souls". I can't pass throught the trap. See the screenshot below.

I found that glitch also but fortunately saved just prior to going there
That is very strange? I don't have anything there that should stop you from passing. The temple in general can be very buggy (That is why I disabled saving). I will play test it again to see if I can find the problem but I have never run into it in previous runs but I'll see what I can do. Thanks for letting me know.
I have been enjoying the game but now I cant seem to follow the story I have made it into the 4th floor of the lab and into the "final" room killing the monster to the left but now no idea where to go been through the whole game can not find were this trail goes next
You should be able to go straight after you beat the first boss, If there's still a fire blocking you're path that is really confusing, cause I've had several people play through from beginning to end without experiencing a problem with that, Perhaps a story event was missed?, I'll have to look into it. Otherwise I'm happy you're enjoying the story.

If you find the story a little confusing that's totally understandable, I ended up rushing through the story once I finished the forest area and I feel like it makes it harder to understand for players. I'm hoping when I finish my second game I can go back and make this game follow my original ideas better. Thanks for playing :)
Hello, I couldn't find the temple key... Where should I find it?
This is a really nice game! I love it!

PS: How many secret characters are there?
The temple key can be found to the left of the temple. There is an oasis behind the boss and you should see a chest. There are four unlockable characters all of which you can get from getting a high score in the minigames around town. Glad you're enjoying the game.

Sincerely thank you for the respond!!
I've gotten 2 hidden characters and they're cute! Is it every mini game I can get one?
I like this game really much! Hope you can produce more games like this in future! Blessed Merry Christmas!
I am currently working on a sequel to the game. It's called Dynastia. I'm pretty sure the version I uploaded has maybe an hour and a half worth of game play if you want to try it. You can get the link here. Thank you, Merry Christmas to you as well.

- The 1st one you get for working in the Chinese restaurant, 2nd one you can randomly get from the mystery boxes, 3rd is from beating the first round in the coliseum and the 4th one is from the pac-man like game in the rich area.
Hi, do you have any tips killing the last boss, Septova? I've failed there like 5 times and more... QwQ

PS: I've got all the 4 mini characters!! <3
Long RPG with good production values. I liked the city and and all the stuff you can do there, I always wanted to make a big city in RPG maker. I liked diner dash and the other fun stuff in the game. I also (kinda) like the funny dialogue.

Unfortunately, other parts of the game were not so likeable. Literally got to right before the end of the game (the final room where the mega ultra chicken thing was) before I had enough and had to quit for ever. I am not a fan of forced grinding, and I wasnt very eager for the amount of it I would have to do to get past the dragon. He easily two-shots everyone except the main character and is immune to many statuses. Speaking of statuses, Katherine had to carry me past most of the game due to her charm-centric skillset, but it seemed everyone in the lab was immune to charm (made sense, since they're robots), making katherine basically useless from that point on. Everyone's skill sets followed different themes, which is good, but were too similar mechanics-wise. However, this wasnt even the biggest issue. The biggest issue by far, which directly made me quit, was the lag. Seriously, I never seen this kind of lag in any other MV game. I dunno what script you were using, but despite this game's length there should not be such serious lag. It seems to occur when I play this game for more than half an hour or so: menus take about 5+ seconds to respond to input and so do random encounters, and all aspects of the game slow down to a crawl. My comp may not be strong enough for cod, but this is an RPGmaker game for pete's sake, there should not be so much lagging here. Sorry, but this is just unacceptable for me.

Pretty good game, but it has some serious issues.
Question what should i do at the graves to advance only some of them work i talked wiht all that work and nothing happend?
I watched the first video. The battle system looks a lot better then the RTP, as the enemies move and the player battlers actually move up to them to attack.

Where did you get this battle system plugin? I would at least like to know where this is a plugin to make the characters walk up to the target. (this function is in RM2K3).
