Warring factions struggle for control of Aethene.
Continental superpowers wage ruination upon one another, locked in entropic turmoil.
Blades unsheathe and arrows draw; a time of suffering and hardship has washed over the peaceful land, and all will tremble as clashing steel resounds throughout the bloodstained fields.
Smaller clans peek through splayed fingers and watch in horror,
as the war against themselves lays waste to the very land they sought to protect.
However, they are merely pawns in a much larger game. The puppetmaster's strings shall soon tangle, the charade will fall, and an ancient evil will awaken.

Sacred Sin is a modern twist on the classic RPG formula we're all familiar with.
A game open to the player's interpretation, with no distinct black-and-white contrast.
Assume the role of both the heroes, and villains; two sides of the same coin. It's for you to decide, who is who.
Your actions determine which side will emerge victorious.

In three weeks time, you'll be able to experience the next chapter in the ongoing saga. Social confidants, dungeon crawling, resource gathering, and much more, will be included in this upcoming chapter. I hope you'll sit down to play it when the time comes.

Sacred Sin is taking an alternate direction. One which I've been sitting on for quite some time, pondering its worth. It involves a lot of changes to the core idea of the game itself, short term.

I'm only one guy. My vision for this game is grandiose and beautiful.
If I'm going to fulfill my dream, I'll need to approach this project from a different angle.

Rather than releasing one single game, which is essentially two games put together, I'll be making two separate games. One for each side of the story. Of course, after I finish both games, I'll be releasing a third, which will be more of a "definitive edition," as the game it was originally envisioned to be, alongside bonus content.

I've already sunk far more money into this project than I'm willing to admit. I don't want to start a Patreon, and beg for shekels. But this game isn't cheap to make. The game will be free. It will always be free. But a man needs to eat. I'll be looking into releasing the finished products onto the Steam Marketplace as well as RMN. Perhaps the Steam version will bear a few goodies to make it worth your while.

However, I refuse to sell my soul to the corporate devil.

Anyway, see you on the 13th.

Bless.

From the name and the screenshots, I assumed this was going to be a sad drama game :P Oh well, looking forward to playing it none the less.

Flowers is most certainly intended to be a sad game, but it's more focused on making the player feel, than anything else. (Like making the player become attached to specific characters, and things of a similar caliber.) I wouldn't use the word drama, but, the game is supposed to be rather dramatic at parts.

Overall, it really is a sad, story driven game, with a little bit of RPG thrown in there.

I'm very pleased to hear that you're looking forward to the final product! Please feel free to spread the word about this game, I'd greatly appreciate it, as I'm just a lowly high school student. Have a lovely day!

I'm glad to hear such enthusiasm regarding my game! I wish I could say they were, but the graphics aren't entirely mine, and are instead the Time! Fantasy pack, available for download on the RPG Maker official website, or on Steam! (Although I did modify a few things.)

I look forward to presenting the final product to you!

Ah. Thank you. I'm still in high school, and I'm still kinda learning some of the rules of the lesser used bits.
I adore English. It's beautiful and becoming. Grammar just sucks. xD

I'm still dwelling in the High School's; it blows more than anything, most days. Of course, I'm just being dramatic but it's necessary to do so. In short, English to way too damn complicated. I love it but I hate it. Case and point.
Hopefully I get to play hands on with this soon. Looks fun. Subbed :D

I don't have an exact date in mind, but it'll probably be playable around May or June, 2019. I hope that's not too long of a wait. Glad to hear you're interested though. Thanks! :)

Thanks! I appreciate that! I hope you'll enjoy the future updates. :)
Great game. Interesting characters, good writing. The different perspective battles were cool and well executed.

Bugs(?) : The chest that needs to be opened with the wooden key says its locked when interacting with it after obtaining the items from it.

I will definitely be following the development of this game, and will be looking forward to the final product.

p.s. i will destroy u if lenny dies
