Update! March 3rd, 2019

Hey. Long time no see.
I just finished celebrating my birthday, and figured now was as good a time as any to share some of the progress I've made with you all.

Last month, I released a private demo to a few friends and testers, to which I received glowing reviews. Maybe it's the bias of friendship, or maybe I've really got something going here. Or, maybe they actually hated it and just poorly communicated that to me. I'm gonna go with the second option, for the sake of my feelings.

There's still a significant amount of work to be done before the demo is ready to be released. This "demo-demo" was only about 70% of the first chapter. I still need to include the prologue and second chapter before I feel it's fit to be released, on top of rounding a couple rough edges.

You can expect to see the demo's release anywhere between now and 2020, because like most other creators here, I'm a procrastinator. Quite the professional, too.

If you're oddly inclined to get your hands on my "demo-demo", you are welcome to it. Just shoot me a private message, and I'll give you the link.

The next update will completely revamp this page, from the bio to images, title and pages, the whole shebang. As anyone who's been subscribed to this project for a while would know, this project has seen its fair share of identity crises. Over the passed year I've settled on the final image of this game, but rather than spam title changes, I've decided to hold off on it until I was positive this would be the final shape. It is. If I change the title after this coming update, quote this blog post. I'll PayPal you $25 Canadian dollars.

The final project title will be Sacred Sin. I honestly debated outright deleting this page and starting a new one, since it's changed so much over the years, and there are comments regarding it as an entirely different game, but, meh. It's probably not worth it, honestly.

Mmm, get a look at that. An HD, beveled gradient title card, cartoon characters, and pixelated menu font. Who doesn't love some good ol' inconsistency? I'll probably fix the glaring contrast between the texts before the demo drops. Probably.

But yeah, in conclusion, you can expect the demo anytime as soon as May 13th, right up until November 27th. It's more likely to come out between June 23rd, and September 19th, but could see an early/late release, depending on how my workflow/ethic turns out as the days pass.

I sincerely hope that you'll be with me when the time FINALLY comes for this project to grace your screens. It's been a passion project for years now, and I really think it'll be something special. Thanks for your time. I hope you have a great day, Mr/Mrs. Reader.

Always nice to get an update on this game!

I think I will wait until the "demo-demo" before I jump into this game. It looks worth the wait.
I'm glad to hear you're back working on this. Hope it all goes well for you!
