People have been claiming to see some strange things at the local high school during the late hours of the night. Some have claimed to have spotted a motionless figure standing at the windows of the building. Others swear on their life that they have heard the sounds of a woman's screams coming from inside. But, that's all just childish rumors... Right?

Curious about the supposed paranormal activity at their own school, a group of three friends sneak into the building after hours, in order to see if there is any truth to the stories. By splitting up, they hope to find proof somewhere in the quiet halls of the school.

Unfortunately for them, the building might not be as empty as they originally thought...

Turtle Head is Released!

Hey everyone, so I finished Turtle Head on time, but as some of you may have noticed, RMN was down for the past couple of days. But now that it's back, I'm happy to give you all the the final game! I hope you'll all enjoy it!

You may need the RPG Maker MV RTP to play the game. (Run Time Package) A quick Google search will find it.

Currently, I am writing the walkthrough for the game. Until then, if you get stuck, feel free to leave a comment and I’ll try and help you. Please be kind to others and avoid posting spoilers though.

EDIT: I've made a few minor fixes to some spelling and grammar mistakes. I've updated the download section with this new version.

Huh, interesting...
I replayed the final chase and I gave my fingers a little break at the u-bend in the old school where Turtle Head got stuck but then white ones spawned and killed me when I took too long.

Well, I was aware he could get stuck. So I wasn't about to leave it just at that without adding a little something extra...

Okie. I'm stuck.
I can't figure out the password for the locker in the home economy room, and I also can't figure out where the desk key goes.

Btw, I'm seriously enjoying this so far. You really did a good job :D
The Home EC pass is
400619

The sheet of paper with the hang man game nearby is the clue.

Thanks! But I'm stuck again :P
Where am I supposed to run after I pick up the library key? The guy is really fast and most rooms are dead ends.

Thanks. If you like it so far, just wait until you reach the later parts of the game.

Actually it's 40619. You probably could have figured out that there was an extra zero in what HikiNeet wrote, but it doesn't hurt to mention.

And once you get the library key, head for the library.

I just finished the game and really enjoyed it! I'll probably write a review for it after I upload my lp, but I think I'll give a 4 ^^
You had some very unsettling and creepy scenes, which is always good to see in a horror game. Some parts were a bit predictible, most especially when the chases would appear. Speaking of the chases, this might just be the first game I've played with chases I thought were actually difficult :P That's a good thing! The art for the characters was ok. I wasn't too big on it at first, but I did end up liking it more towards the end. What I really liked though, was the art for the ''monster''. His design was simply yet the art still made him look creepy! The custom graphics were really good too :) Hope to see more coming from you.
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I am currently working on another project, but it's too early to say too much about it yet.
Soo, I had to look here for the password to the computer in the library.
I'm not asking for hand me outs and I'm curious as to how you would stumble upon the answer or come close to it by what's in the game. If all you're given is the memo beside it and nothing else then I would have never figured it out. I couldn't find anything else out and I'm curious as to the method to finding it out. Call me dumb but I honestly did not find any hints as to even get close to the answer.

tl;dr:
How do you figure out the password to the library computer?

The curiosity is killing me. =x You can pm me if you're not wanting to give too much away.

How do i open the toolbox and what's the use of the batteries and the chalks pointer?

Uh, I'm confused. I thought you said you've already gotten the other two endings? You couldn't have gotten that far without having already figured all of that out.

But okay...
Chalkboard pointer is for the locked stall in the girl's bathroom. Batteries are for the flashlight in the nurse's room.

Yeah...I already got the true ending but I still don't know what the use of them but they don't really effect the gameplay though.

Use the wire cutters to get into the cafeteria and a room on the second floor. Each contain a half of the password.

Ok, I'm worried now.....
I haven't even come across wire cutters, I'm starting to worry that there is something simple I'm missing....

Once you have both batteries, enter the dark room. You'll find a toolbox key in the cabinet. The toolbox is located in the library's storage room. The wire cutters are inside of it.

Yeah, that's what I figured, I have none of these and have no idea where to get it. Either everything is locked or already been through it. I spent a good 10 minutes backtracking everywhere. This literally has to be way too simple that I'm overlooking it. I already went through the stereo.

The only items I have are the letter, beginning of the game, and 1 battery.

EDIT:
So after watching someone, thankfully putting a video up. After the first chase scene and when you hide, he's supposed to drop a desk key......which I skipped right over and the desk key is NOW gone. So as a for warning you might want to make it to where the key doesn't disappear. Looking over my video, it did indeed drop but I didn't see it to pick it up and now that I reached the library it's now gone and I can't pick it up anymore. I am literally at a dead end with no "end".
I see, I didn't realize that could happen. I'll have to fix that in a future update.
I am in the same situation as Ghos7Soldier.
Two days trying to sort out this for nothing!

That reminds me of your LP of DZ where you went into the building and the robot went away therefore never dropping the keycard! Lol you can almost never predict what a player might do!

Edit: That's something I still have to fix actually...

It's a glitch. If you never pick up the key and then do
the chase to the library
the key disappears.

So yeah.

Glad I at least found that out pretty quick then. D=

Even if by accident.

So I beat the game but something's bugging me, at the part where you have to go back for Emma I heard a whisper saying "wait comeback" so I looked around but I couldn't find anything. Aside from that I had a lot of fun, I did a let's play on my channel if you wanted to check it out.
Still trying to figure out how I got this horrid image from that bloodied window to occur. Dear lord. Thought for sure he'd burst through there and give me a unique instant death. Truly a nerve wracking experience for me.

I just finished your game, and it wasn't bad! It could have been a bit more creepy - a lot of the time it was wandering around a normal-looking school and I forgot I was playing a horror game. That said, I enjoyed the graphics and the game was decently unsettling, good job :)
