Story
The world has become an increasingly dangerous place, the number of criminals, terrorists and general evildoers is at an all-time high. To counter this, decorated S.W.A.T. officer J.J. Colt and his long-time friend Nathan "Rocket" Nace, found the World Army.
It is an army with no political or national allegiance. Its only goal is making the world a better place by fighting evildoers on a global scale. Colt and Rocket are quickly joined by Samantha "Phoenix" Byington, a renowned competitive martial artist, and Marco "Blue Fox" Tundo, a highly trained ninja with a mysterious past. Several dozen recruits from all over the world also sign up. Some have experience. Some are formerly retired soldiers, or mercenaries. Others are regular people with no combat experience. All of them in need of training, or a refresher course, before they are ready for action.

The heroes are dutifully making progress towards achieving their goal. Little do they know that behind the scenes, a great evil is plotting a scheme of grand proportions...

General description
World In Danger is a top down action shooting game with stealth elements, similar to classic such as Metal Gear and Legend Of Zelda. Embark on different types of missions across the globe:

Taking out groups of enemies.
A mission type where the player is tasked with clearing out a level, by finding and shooting all the bad guys.

Rescuing hostages.
Where the main objective is to rescue hostages spread throughout the level. The hostages are guarded by bad guys, and the player can choose to do the mission stealthily, rescuing the hostages without been seen or engaging the enemies; Or go in guns blazing and free the hostages in the aftermath.

Disarming bombs.
The level has several explosive devices hidden across it. The player will need to find and disarm them, before the time runs. The bombs, similar to the hostages, are under guard; Again leaving the player with the choice of either a stealth- or assault-approach.

On some occasions there will be unique challenges, like boss-fights the player encounters as the story unravels. Each requiring a different strategy.

It is being developed for Windows(PC), MacOS(Mac) and mobile platforms (Android and iOS)

  • Large Roster of Playable Characters

  • Adjustable Difficulty

I'm not sure what you asked exactly but I'll try to answer.

It is made with unity because it is:
  • A. better suited to bring out on multiple platforms, PC, Mac, Mobile and even consoles.

  • B. better suited for my style of games, mainly action games.

  • C. provides a lot more freedom in programming then any RPG maker.

And of course the winner can get a female character. It is all up to the winner, regardless of the winner's actual gender.

The current participants, as in those who send in their World Army application and received a personalized demo can be seen here keep in mind, the ranking from Colt is just an example not a contestant.
Wow Colt, you're still at it? I have not seen a person from the old days in a long, long time.

Used to go by Klown on RPG Arena/Devscape/Sky Tower Games. Uh, did the Adventures of Manabat.

Yeah, I don't know when to quit; I just like making games.

I wasn't active on the other two sites you mention, but I did frequent Sky Tower Games a lot. Back in the day, that would be nearly 15 years ago. And I do remember the username Klown, tough I can't recall if we ever conversed.
just wondering, how easy is it to get 100% achievement in the game?
i'm planning to review it but since it's on steam and i kinda care about 100% completion, i think it might be better to ask first.

Apologies for the belated response, I only visit rpgmaker.net on an irregular basis. To answer your question, most of the achievements are fairly easy (half of which you unlock simply by completing the game). There are two that can be considered difficult: Getting an S-Rank in Boss Attack Mode and getting an S-Rank in all missions.

I've also send you a pm with some more information.
