~ Trick & Treat Remake ~

A friend and I remade Trick & Treat and it's now available on Steam and itch.io with 40% off release sale!
Art Bool Vol.2 is released with the game as well.
I hope this remake version can bring you some Halloween moond, and maybe a little nostalgia feelings.

Tho I've been inactive here but I do check RMN now and then (and play games here XD). I'm still very grateful that this site and its players enjoyed this little game, and helped me a lot in many ways.

Finally the game and the art book DLC is successfully released!

The game remians free, and you can purchase the art book to enjoy a little bit more of the game and support the dev at the same time!
There’s a 10% off for the Art Book until 4th October (GMT).

Time to get prepared for Trick & Treating :'D
Some Trick & Treat news!
☆The steam version is in the final testing. The Steam store page is going to be available in mid-September, and the game will be released on 30th, September, if everything goes well.
New content for the Steam version:
*Some trivial details added, including one more way to gameover. (tho it's really hidden and awkard. don't bother X'D)
*The room next to the Cloakroom is finally enterable, with a new riddle and more candy.
*8 Steam achievements.
The version will be 2.0, I'll update it here once it's released on steam.
☆As you probably know that I’m making an ART BOOK as DLC…it’ll be a pdf ebook with about 50 pages (25 double pages) contain all the art and sketches about the game and its development! And I’m drawing a few new ones for it…hope you’ll like it!
☆Since I have recieved some fan art…I’m wondering, if there is anyone interested in submitting fan art for the art book?? If it gets included in the book you’ll recieve a copy for free! :’D
It’s not a contest (and properly not many submissions) so I think there’s a pretty big chance…If you’re interested, read more for the rules!
Fan art rules:
√ It’s OK to draw any character, npc, or game/backstory related contents.
√ It’s OK to contain spoilers.
* Any shipping is fine! However, considering the game and its players, if it has very obvious Yuri/Yaoi contents maybe you could discuss with me first.
* Horror contents are fine, but as this game is not very scary, maybe it’s better if you don’t go too hard-core :p If not sure, discuss with me!
X No spiders…I’m very sorry to say this, but because of spider phobia in the editing group, we’ll be unable to put your work in the book.
X No tracing or art theft.
X No NSFW works. No offensive contents, or anything that related to real people/events. Just keep it respectful and fictional like a normal peice of fan art XD
Basically just draw whatever you want… Any season, outfit or story. It’s not a contest, so the art skill is not the primary thing to consider. Relax and have fun! :)
Size and format:
Please keep it as regular as possible (1:1, 4:3, 16:9, regular shapes, etc)
Please draw it large, at least 1200px, or above. The book size is A4.
Save it as png. Use your ID and date as the file name, for example: “0902 Amelia Pumpkin”. I’ll credit you as “Amelia Pumpkin”.
Deadline:
21th September, Wednesday.
*Late submissions may be accepted (maybe!!), but please don’t be late! The deadline may change due to various reasons (for example, too many submission or no submission…hopefully it won’t happen). Keep an eye on the blog if you’re participating!
When you’re ready, email it to:
