Well, that was a lot of fun!

Hidden to let others have the fun of determining who did what (beyond what's given in the credits)

I could tell Someoneman started with a puzzle-style gameplay, but unity took it in the RPG direction (as well as added Leta and Marci to complement Rua's abilities. Plus, everyone other than Rua speaks just like a unity character!)

Still though, nice job adding in the battles at the beginning so it feels more natural rather than a complete tonal shift. If I had to nitpick, I think crafting should have been used instead of the shops to get more items/equipment. That way it would still feel like some of Someoneman's initial game carried through, rather than just the story and the setting.

Great job on this, both of you! You should be proud of how well this turned out!

Haha, good point! I kinda just went full combat RPG and didn't look back XD; Glad you enjoyed it though! (and glad that my characters are distinct enough to be "unity characters") :D

You really did go full combat in this one! In fact, I noticed this was was a lot tougher than your other games. Though that may be because, to nitpick just a little more, the enemies felt like they all lasted just a little longer than they should have. Also, Rua always seemed to run out of MP faster than anyone else. Good thing there were plenty of MP restoring items around.

Or maybe I just had poor, poor timing. As soon as I stop and use my items to heal everyone's HP/MP, I go into the next room and there's always a full heal! Like, literally every single time. Let me tell you it would have been a... well... interesting Let's Play if I had actually recorded myself playing this.

Feedback:
This was fun! The amount of Luxaren Allure/Bloody inserts kind of gave away whose half was who. :P

Due to the somewhat shoddy nature of the graphics, it was sometimes difficult to tell between a wall and a staircase, but otherwise playthrough felt pretty smooth.

The battles were pretty solid despite the scarcity of MP, though I'd maybe tweak some enemies' AGI so that they all don't seem to attack at once.

That aside, I really adore the charm this game has. That skeleton wearing the heart-stubbed boxers was the best thing in this game.

Wow, thanks a lot, Ratty! :DDDD So glad you enjoyed it! I spent a lot of time making the custom enemy assets and battlebacks so I'm glad the game has charm!

I'll definitely go back and vary the AGI so battles work a bit better ^_^

@Red: You have a good point with the enemy HP. I think I might reduce that a little, too.

EDIT: Uploaded a tweaked version. Most enemies have a little less HP, altered enemies speed, lowered cost of spells. Hopefully that makes the game a bit better ^^

Thanks! It was a contest game, so we were on a time crunch to make it. Thus, the shortness ^_^

Thanks very much, Cap! :DDDDDDD
I don't have much to say except I liked the opening of the player trying to get in and fixing his leg, the music reminds of DOOM cause I love that soundtrack, and the monsters are so cute like those squirrels or the skeletons in their underwear. And that end boss is surprising adorable and friendly. I would love a plushie of that thing.

Thanks! :D The sequence with the leg-breaking was all Someoneman's doing, and I think he did a wonderful job with it ^_^ Glad you liked the monsters! I had a lot of fun designing them :D
