Disconnected is a RPGmaker top-down Shooter featurering pixelmovement and 360° shooting.
The game can be completed in a little over 30 minutes and features a cocktail of action, puzzles, robots, zombies, DS era graphics and B-movie storytelling.


This being my first game ever, I started out small and put the emphasis on gameplay. The game uses a customized version of Khas' Saphire Action battle System combined with a mouse script to create a somewhat unique RPG maker game.

Controls;
Walk : WASD
Interact : E
Consume Medpack : Q
Aim : Mouse
Shoot : Left Mouse
Menu : Esc

It is complete, it is done!

I've finally completed my first RPG Maker game!
The final version of disconnected can now be downloaded, I hope some of you enjoy playing the game. While i've been testing and polishing the game over the last couple of days there still might be some bug/glitches. So if you encounter one please post here or send me a message.

I'd download but I won't have a computer for a few days after this...l
I think I'll give it a whirl. I'll record a video on the demo, (If that's okay.) and give my thoughts and impressions on it afterward.

really like the dark atmosphere
Sorry to be so late getting back to you about it.

But anyways, I'm finding the game to be pretty rough around the edges. I find myself constantly getting stuck on the corners of objects while moving around, and also don't have a clear direction of where I'm supposed to be going and find myself a little lost.

I've also encountered and issue where I can walk through closed doors into the surrounding black void of the map.

I most definitely recommend finding a proofreader as well. The game's English is understandable, but is full of spelling and grammar issues right now.

It seems my comment was lost in the crash, so a short summary...
first of all thanks for the effort, i've fixed pretty much all of the errors you pointed out, tho there are just some limitations to the engine (collision matching the tile-system while movement is pixel-based) but i've tried to reduce it's promince. The game should be a bit smoother to play in the current build.
I've also did a overhaul of all conversations, there should be no big grammar mistakes, tho I guess i'll have missed some commas.
so once again thanks for the feedback and I appreciated the video.
