A short game I made absentmindedly in a couple of weeks. It's meant to be played on it's first playthrough as an exploration game and from then on as a race. Also an exploration of low resolution graphics and minimal HUD; all information about the player is displayed on the character (save for the timer itself).

You control a nameless astronaut trying to escape the asteroid it's been imprisioned in. The goal is to activate a portal that will take you out of there, but to do that you'll need to collect three red shards hidden around the asteroid. By collecting power ups you will also be able to increase your jumps and dash more often.

The only attack available is to dash. Enemies hit by it will go flying, with the possibility of hitting other enemies. Originally the game was meant to be about this mechanic, but technical issues with how to aim the launched enemies made it unfun.

It's my first completed project in a long, long time, so I hope you will all enjoy it. All assets were made by me.

controls are: z to jump and double jump, x to dash. Holding up or down while pressing x will make you dash in those directions.

Hey, this is a neat little game, once you get used to the controls a bit (would help if there were some in-game explanation as to what to do and how to do that - what keys do what and the like. Not everyone reads descriptions.)

I got 75% Items and 12:46

Love me some platformers!

I'll give this a shot.

My time was somewhere around 30 mins and I got 100% item completion.

This game was pretty neat! I liked the bubble mechanics with how they increased your ability to dash and jump (though dashing was arguably more useful for getting around at a certain point).

It did get a bit confusing after a while since the whole thing is a gigantic maze, and I don't see a purpose in making the controls obtuse; you have them in your game description, so why not put a spot for instructions in your game? A pause feature is something I'd also recommend as well, because not everyone can afford to sit through a running game in one sitting, I had to just camp in a safe spot when I needed to get up and do something else (it's not impatience, it's responsibilities like having to cook for your family and stuff).

Otherwise, it was a pretty nice little gem! I'd love to see an expansion to it because I like the ideas presented.
After the second plunge I was stuck in the ball at the spawn and was unable to get out
