So, I really could have done a bit better with this game. Much better. Nowadays, replaying it seems like I made it all too easy, not to mention there's barely any depth to combat other than "slice away until they die, heal sometimes". I plan to fix this, with a little update. It'll add more difficulty, more complex battling, and a little extra gameplay. Stay tuned for more.
This update should fix a bunch of bugs that were reported on the game profile.
-Fixes a bug that would let you go back into the castle after escaping from prison
-Fixes a bug where on Route 1, the merchant says bye twice if you select "No thanks"
-Removes the save on the Route 1 Rest Stop toilet
-Fixed the bug where an enemy soldier wouldn't disappear after being defeated in the last map of the game
-Fixed a bug where leaving Fort Mathro and then going back in shoves you into void space
-Added in a little treat in the right passage of the final map
If you've downloaded and played Conspiracy of the New Order, you might've noticed a "Donate" button on the title screen menu. If you can spare it, try donating a few dollars. I say this because I'm a simple high school student with no job who puts a lot of heart into these games, and it would be great if you guys could support my development.
The initial release of the game seemed to have an error stemming from me trying to replace the default RPG Maker icon with the game's actual icon. That error's been fixed, so if you downloaded the game on release day (6/2/2016), redownload it and your issue should be fixed. Sorry bout that!
