Resumed progress.

I've finally resumed progress and fixed a glitch where the player was able to walk on water.

It seems like ASUS machines are almost incapable of heating up and I love that.

Maybe when I have things underway I'll be able to set another tentative release date for the finished game. Thanks for staying tuned. :)

Progress has been delayed for 3 weeks due to computer problems.

I have a wonderful ASUS ROG arriving in a few days.

Do not bother with MSI machines. They are awful and their service is worse. :)

The monsters in the next dungeon have been updated and my artist has finished the last of the character battle emblems.

I feel it's necessary to add one more monster for some variation and to make getting supplies more user friendly.

I rewrote another conversation and have prepared to finalize the content for the middle of the game.

Monsters are being updated with new abilities and new graphics.

I've added some more user friendly updates and adjusted monsters for difficulty.

There was a problem with damage floors not functioning properly but I solved that easily.

At the moment my focus is polishing a few details like how loud the music is at certain times, so I've gone back and slightly lowered it in a few places.

Several optional bosses have been adjusted for difficulty as well, including a new one I added. I've also added some new items and allowed few early areas access to better items.

My goal is not to make my game easier, but to allow a more evenly paced experience for the player. Unfairly restricting access to everything they have makes a game boring and unnecessarily time consuming.

I've added new items and edited some details for the area prior to the midway point of the game.

Several more conversations have been finished and added to the game, some minor errors have been fixed and optional bosses have been edited for pacing.

My artist has begun work on the sixth character battle emblem.

I've rewritten some more conversations and made plans for others later in the game.
It's a slow but ongoing process.

Over a month ago I made a connection with an artist who's been making battler emblems for each character's combat window.

4/7 are finished and the next one is under construction.
I've added a picture to the image section of the game's profile to show the emblems.

Status update.

All maps for the first half of the game have been redone and perfected. Some have been made smaller to provide a more smooth experience and reduce the time players spend walking around. One dungeon was made overall more difficult, but the encounter ratio was reduced to compensate. New fast transit items have been added but are unfortunately not available in the current demo.

Several more conversations have been rewritten, new random souls have been added to help the player spend less time killing monsters to power up.

I'm now rewriting more conversations.

I have much of the later portions of the game planned out in my head and in notebooks.

Overall completion is around 60%.

After the project is finished I will provide a walkthrough/hint guide with the download.
