Version 1.4?

Heya people! I know it's probably redudant so late in this game's life, seeing as it has been completed for more than 3 years now, but I'm working on the hopefully *final* update for Temple of Memories.

I'm currently trying to find ALL the typos that I haven't found just yet, revamping the entire encounter system, going from just random encounters to enemies that walk around the enviroment. I've also been trying to redesign the last two puzzles of the game in order for them to fit more into the entire theme I was going for. The second puzzle is being scrapped completely and I think I've come up with an interesting enough replacement. (Puzzle design is not my forte) I'm also adding some more polish in certain areas that I've noticed weren't as fleshed out as I had initially thought, so there's that too. This should *hopefully* be the final update I give this old project before finally putting it down to rest only for me to remake it in my twilight years.

So, for any people interested, you can stay tuned or not. It is an old finished game after all so I can't blame you for not showing interest.

Temple of Memoires v1.3.1 now out.

I must be the worst debugger cause I forgot to fix a gamebreaking bug in version 1.3 argggg

Either way, that bug has been fixed and also some more grammar. Those pesky grammar mistakes really like to sneak themselves into my mind.

Temple of Memories v1.3 is now live

So, that was it, fixed the bugs that managed to sneak their way into v1.2 and also some other bugs I found after some more testing. Reduced the encounter rate for the random encounters and also fixed up a few dialgoue lines here and there.

Version 1.2 broken, new update incoming

Soooo, it turns out I made a big mistake while working on v1.2 and therefore it is not RTP independent plus it has a ton of missing files. Working on a fix now, gonna upload v1.3 later today.

Temple of Memories v1.2 is up

Here it is, the update I wanted to make over a year ago.

Temple of Memories version 1.2!

The most drastic change was the remaking of an entire puzzle, but other than that, the changes are minor.
Here's what's new:
-Second Puzzle has been replaced and made way more logical.
-A lof of dialogues has been slightly rewritten.
-A new enemy has been added to the first area of the game.
-The game is now RTP independent.

That's it pretty much, I think that this game is done now. If I find any bugs or details that should need changing, I will update it again, but as it stands, this game is now complete.

Big update coming

So, I haven't touched this project in a long time, even though I had intended to do so a long time ago. I've been working on fixing some stuff here and there, more specifically, I've finally remade the second puzzle, instead of being an illogical mess, it now makes way more sense and is ten times easier to read.

I'm also working on giving the few random encounters that are in the game to be a little more varied and trying give them a little more of a fun factor. Also rewriting some dialogue as I didn't like some of it, seeing as I have improved my writing skills a good amount since I made this game.

All in all, the thing I'm tring to say is that I'm working on abig update and I hope it will be the final one. Have a nice day.

Miscellaneous

Removed the RTP version.

I removed the RTP version of my game, it was too much of a hassle to always make a version that is 200MB and upload it afterwards, the PC I'm using is a potato and it takes forever to include the RTP in a project.

So, to any newcomers to the site or RPG Maker, download the RTP from the official RPG Maker website if you want to play this game!

Miscellaneous

Small fixes

Hey there people, after getting some more feedback, I was able to find some more bugs and I also decided to make some small changes here and there.

FIXES:
-The item "Revival Sands" did not work the way it was supposed to, now it does.
-The skills "Mana Tonic" and "Antidote" can now be used outside of battle and they create both these items respectively.
-Before the game starts, the controls are shown to the player.
-Fixed some grammar mistakes.

I think and hope that I got all bugs fixed now and I also hope that there are no more grammar issues in the dialogue.

That being said, Temple of Memories has been downloaded 100 times now and I hope that whoever downloaded it, that they were able to enjoy the game. Have a nice day RMN!

Progress Report

Temple of Memories ver 1.1 is out!

After reading all the feedback I got and polishing the game here and there, I proudly present to you version 1.1 of Temple of Memories. Here's the changes:
-Fixed some minor bugs.
-Made some changes to the second puzzle, it should be easier to find out how it works.
-Fixed the grammatical errors I could find and also changed some dialogue.
-Added some more dialogue.
-Instead of 5 slimes, now there will be a maximum of 3 slimes, no more tiring battles against annoying slimes!
-The characters can level up now, killing them enemies became less pointless!
-The mana tonic skill now fills up 30MP instead of 15MP.
-You can now save directly before the final boss fight starts, no more reading the same dialogue over and over!
-Made some minuscule changes to some maps, nothing big.

Edit:
-Found some small bugs and already fixed them, sorry for any inconvenience.
I recommend downloading the game again. >.<

Update incoming

After reading the feedback given I've received for my game, I've decided to work on an update. I'll try to get rid of any grammatical errors int he dialogue and I'll also change some of it.
I will also work on the second puzzle and make it more understandable.
