Bhavacakra (Meaning the Wheel of Life) is a fantasy RPG game made in RPG Maker MV.

The game is typical in a sense that nothing stands out. It has a main plot, choices, and side quests. The focus of this game is lives, people's lives. And their lives are side quests. This game boosts 90+ side quests in around 30 ~ 40 hours gameplay. There are also three endings with one ending leading to post game world.

You play as Juan, a young country man from a village of Loche. There is a rumor that a war is going to break out. As you explore the world, the war does break out, leaving you three choices.
You can either fight for your country OR fight against your country. And, finally, you can turn your back on the war. Whichever choice you make, Juan's life changes for good.

There are several things I focused while making this game.

  • The game world is consisted of four nations, with each nations containing about 2 major cities and 3 ~ 4 small villages. There is an exception though; there is an off world nation. All in all, I consider the game world to be fairly large.

  • I did mention 90+ quests. They are side quests. Few get complicated and will go into post game. Some are hard. Some are simple fetch quests. But side quests will have stories to tell. This game is about lives. Oh, and defeat the big evil thing. Actually, no, there is no real evil being to defeat in the game. But the wheel of life works in mysterious ways.

  • Monsters do not drop money at all. Why should they? They drop their body parts instead. You either sell them to proper places (trading posts) for bigger profits or use them to cook.

  • Main characters and other important characters have unique CG portrait. The game also contains CG scenes I made.

  • You can pursue your relationship with your heroine all the way into marriage if you so desire.

I didn’t think I’d release a patch for this game, but here we are. I plan to add few quests I omitted before.

  • Patreon link removed because it’s no longer active. It’s been replaced with its website link.

  • Some game icons have been upgraded.

  • Majority of plugins were updated. This isn’t something you are going to notice during play.

  • I added Yanfly battle animation speed plugin. This will let you have battles go by a lot faster if you choose to do so.

What I could not find are the temples of Water and Hatred (for the teachings of the world quest), I also could not trigger marriage, since I could not find Leona in post-war. And at some point the werewolf lady was gone from the isle of death, even thought I completed her questline before that.
And I gave up on looking for the legendary glue too :D

If the creator sees this - going inside the bottom-rightmost house in Kororos (spelling?) returns the town (and world?) to the pre-war state. I guess there is a missed trigger somewhere on the exit of the house?

at least i can help you with the temple of water: is below a house in baldar

But i contacted the creator too... and i have no answers

Big thanks for this one, it worked.
I have relationship level 5, there is a sidequest mentioned that empowers the bands, how to trigger it?

54. Sue-phobia: Requirement to trigger is relationship level 5 with Sue (The maximum before plot branch). No combat involved. Sue will tell Juan about her upbringing and her fears. This event empowers their engagement rings and gives 40 to all instead of default 25.

going again to the lovely haven

Where is the alcoholic beverage required for the woman in Fino?
I thought wine fits the quest description, but no....

Maybe i can help you:

The first alcholic beverage that she wants is in Langt
The second and last one is found in bruroke isle

by the way, i'm kinda stuck in plot 3, in the part when i visit the event site in baldar and i cannot execute a event in the plot 1

the quests that i have some trouble and that i can't have help for tcsura:
6. Marriage (Optional): After Operation Delta, Jack gives you some time off. And if you have done side quest 37 before triggering the plot branch, you now can marry Sue if she is still in your party.
1. If you have completed Gina’s husband quest line, Samuel and Gina will be invited to the wedding.
2. If you have done Michael’s new bird, he and Glenn will also be invited.
3. Marielle will be invited. Her husband, the son of the Gignac will also join if you let her marry him.
4. The Cyro doctor will also be present if you’ve done his quest. It’s mystery how he found out on such a short notice.

Now, talk to Maco to advance the quest. Then go back and vam! Juan is now married to Sue.

plot 3
3. Pursuing truth 2: Juan and Co will discuss their next course of action after being firmly rejected by the Priestess. Marat comes up with an idea of search for her past to find clues on how to owe them a favor.

Juan and Co will visit a place in middle of desert to find clues. You will need to find an unmarked spot to progress.

also:
1. Free Margaret: This side quest becomes available after Juan’s decision is done. Optionally, you may talk to Margaret in Loche and get her out of the town. If you do so, she will end up in Jack’s manor in Ezona. This quest has a deadline. Completing Pursuing truth 1 is the deadline. This side quest leaves no entry in quest log. She will be found in Jack’s

13. Marriage (plot3): This is basically the same quest as the marriage event in Plot 1. You must have blessed engagement rings to be able to trigger this. This event won’t be recorded in the quest log. And it’s slightly different from Plot 1 marriage event. This will change Juan and Sue’s character description under status. You need to talk to the Guildmaster Leona to start.

I made sure to talk to everyone twice and then did it again just to make sure and still nothing. I'm assuming the hint is given by the guard captain? (since the woman says the priest was a guard). The mansion also keeps shifting from the war state back to the prewar state (it goes from the deputy head being in the first floor to him being in the basement), I'm not sure if this is affecting the quest though (once the mansion goes to the prewar state, the NPCs no longer tell me anything about the priest since they go back to their original dialogue).

I did check the walkthrough but it doesn't really offer any specifics other than saying I need to go to a specific spot in the desert; and without the hint from the NPC I don't know where (unless I just need to check every tile in the dessert). Plus I don't know if talking to the NPC is required to update the quest.

On another note, a bug I found is that the the cities will randomly shift back to their "prewar" states (so no blockades or destroyed villages), and I need to retrigger the Ezona dock event to return them to their "war" state.
Several people have reported the bug of going back to pre-war. I've tried to track it down but, with no one giving me closest whereabouts of where the bug began, I have been unable to track it down.

The hint is given by tavern owner by the way. If you don't see the hint, there is a chance that you are in pre-war world. Re-triggering the post war will probably bug the game.

Even if you don't see the hint, if the steps are triggered in order, you can see your next destination on the map. So, I am inclined to believe that the game got bugged on you.

Maye i can send you by email the savestates of both path 1 and path 3? whats your email?
i went out of the first town and i get 1 hit KO
can someone help me with the marriage quest of plot branch 1? i'm kinda stuck

It seems that one of the ways the bug happens is when you try to travel from Yaelu to Hyurps by boat, everytime I do it,it resets to prewar world. It also happened once when I travelled from Bella to Fino, but I haven't been able to reproduce it. Hope this helps!

Thanks. I will take a look at that route when I am able.
