This is my first Review, so it might not be so lengthy :P

In this review, I will only review the ABS (Since this project is all about that anyway)

Pros:
Used animations!
In many ABS's I've seen, the maker of the game, for some reason, doesn't decide to take any time to add any small bit of animation. Why? I have no idea. Animations are necessary in my opinion. If no animation is used, the game will look boring and dull (2 words that probably mean the same thing in a sense, but what ever)

Anyhow the animations for slashing the sword (Left, right, up and down), though short and a bit odd looking, were still present. It's a pleasure to SEE my player attack when I press the attack button.

Displaying damage dealt / received:
It's also nice to see how much damage I deal to an enemy, and this ABS displays it quite well. (By use of pictures, I assume, which might have been a bit tedious to code) Good job!

HP indicator / Power meter

Battle On / Off:
A cool little feature that needs a tad bit of work, which I will talk about in the cons.


Cons:
Turns out to be a button masher:
I don't really like ABS that turn into button mashers. What I mean is, there is no real strategy involved in this ABS. I tried my hardest to avoiding taking damage from enemies, while trying to hit them and It's not like it's hard our anything, It's just ... well ... impossible. If you run to the enemy and slash him, most of the times your attack doesn't hit him. So it turns out i have to continuously hit the key and wait for the enemy to approach me, for me to land a successful hit. I didn't really enjoy that ...

Enemy Animations:
There were not many of those. Actually, only the wolf had any real attacking animation, everyone / everything would just transform into something else to attack you. I found that kind of weird, sorry.

Battle On / Off:
I think you should increase the distance in which Battle Mode turns on and off, because It was kind of annoying when trying to run around and battle mode would turn on and off.

Enemy Death:
Ok, so when every enemy is defeated it turns into a slime and then respawns later?
Yeah, kind of weird in my opinion. Even to have them disappear completely would have been better then turning them into slimes...

Length / Duration:
The demo was pretty short, where's the big Tournament dammit! :P

Overall 3/ 5:
Overall, I'll give it a 3/5. It was going to be a 4/5, but my first play through, I went and picked the female -> and sword ... not having an idea that that was the only thing available. Don't give people options, if they do nothing.

Yeah, and that's my review, and let me remind you, that's my first review ever.

It's a shame this project was cancelled. I could see it turning into a great game actually.
