.defrag is here

It’s a weird feeling being able to actually finish a project.
Especially when you look at the plethora of ideas lurking in your folders, some of which are perpetually in the works, other ones are still waiting to be embraced. We all know that feeling, right?

So where does this game come from? How did I get here in the first place?
I have this thing where whenever somebody tells me to take a break and rest, I work twice as hard and at a faster pace. It was one of those nights… hot, sleepless, and it really all just started as an excuse to build something new as a matter of exercising with the engine.

But then the idea grew on me, and despite how short the experience is, it’s something that enabled me to mature a new perspective on creation as a concept. Creation as expression. Creation as a distillation of all the poisoning induced by self-expectations and insurmountable standards I gave myself in the name of "quality". Creation as freedom. Creation as a moment of reflection. Creation as a means of exploring the endless possibilities in the vast ocean that is our mind.

This is my own interpretation of .defrag as an act of defragmenting myself from all the holes and "noises" persisting in my creative life. I’d love to hear what your own interpretations will be after playing this game. What your thoughts will be. Feelings, emotions. And as always, I’d like to thank everyone who has been supporting my insanity so far. You guys rock. =)
