I really don't like side view all that much, I think its worth trying out between the time I complete the full version and the time I release it just to see how it looks, but right now I prefer full frontal

The truth is that this battle background and view screen reminds me alot of Mother 3, which is my favorite RPG by far, so I guess that's why I'm so partial to it

i think he just meant that amost everyone uses a sideview script, it's like an unwritten law of RPGMaker

i have nothing against sideview, actually i really like it, it's just that in MY games I prefer to have the battles this way
