Sorry, It's Not Holy Anymore

Holes that you fall to the bottom of the screen and die from in the game are being replaced with nonmoving spikes for the most part. With the way the levels will work in later parts of the game, and the annoyingness of instant death, I've found that the game would probably be better without them.

Progress Update Edit: Currently toying with the idea of having a few more upgrades that can be obtained during the game than just the B.L.O.B.s obtained during the storyline and armor upgrades. Maybe a couple of things like double jumping with rocket boosters or increased speed, etc.

New Demo Uploaded!

I uploaded a new demo. It actually has a title screen now, as well as the volume options. Several problems with the B.L.O.B. physics have also been fixed, such as B.L.O.B.s overlapping and floating in the air, and not being able to jump off of a B.L.O.B. while it is falling. None of the new levels were actually put into this demo though; you're going to have to wait until RS!Day for that.

Bullets, and Volume, and Spikes... Oh My! (New Demo Coming Soon)

It seems the game is going to take a litter longer to finish then we originally anticipated, mainly due to my lack of free time. No worries though, it’s still coming along nicely. The main menu and options menu that were missing from the original demo have been finished (and now you actually have audio to change the volume of in the options menu). The base turret enemy code has been finished by me, and the blue B.L.O.B. has been updated to reflect projectiles that hit it. The spike traps have been completely finished, with all sprites/animations/coding. We’ve also created nano repair bot canisters that can be found in the field to restore your armor integrity, as well as advanced nano repair bot canisters containing extra materials to permanently upgrade it by ten points.

New demo coming soon!

I Got a New Bottle of Syrup

Now that we have the necessary materials (yes a bottle of syrup), Kirkpatrick and I are working on the B.L.O.B. sound effects. Nearly all the basic sprites and such are done now, so we're finally starting to put some more meat in the game (as in more levels than the tutorial).
