Pretty darn F.U.N.

B.L.O.B. by GameOverGames Productions.
Well let me get right to it!

Story -/10
Well nothing is really explained about the story (Although I wish something were) so I can't really rate it storywise, so let's move on.

Visuals 7/10
I actually liked the visuals, the little sprites were not bad at all, but what made this score fall was the fact that GOGP (GameOverGames Productions) decided to use Mario's sprite (from Super Mario World) for when the player looks up and down. It wouldn't have been hard to draw the little B.L.O.B. guy's head looking up and down, sprite art is extremely easy. I found that kind of weird.
Also, the small in game tutorial messages were extremely hard to read, I suggest increasing the size of the text or adding some kind of background behind it.

Audio 0/10
Seriously man, no music!? At first i thought my speakers were broken, but nope. After sitting in a B.L.O.B. for a little over 2 minutes, I noticed there was no music to hum to or to calm myself down from getting frustrated with trapping myself. A game with out music gets EXTREMELY boring, lukily for B.L.O.B. the gameplay made up for that.

Also no sound effects! That should have been the easiest thing to add in. (Actually, I heard one sound effect, but that's it.
The game needs audio, that's enough about that.

GamePlay 9/10
The game's strong point! The gameplay was pretty fun actually. I first judged this game by it's cover and thought it'd suck, but that's definitely not the case. The game was pretty fun to play and the B.L.O.B. was an interesting feature to play wit.

I actually didn't know blue B.L.O.B.'s could be used because the game never told me. (Or did it?) So i played the entire game using green B.L.O.B.'s, having no idea blue one's could be used -_- maybe that's why I was getting so frustrated. XD

Anyhow let me end this mini-review now and say:
GamePlay: Strong point
Audio: Weak point

Final Score (Not an average) 3.5/5

I recommend this game to everyone. Give it a try, It's really short and really fun.

Just wait until the final version (or next demo) when it has audio, sound effects, and the story actually develops.
Oh yeah, one more thing (to bad you can't edit comments), I would like to point out that the temporary use of mario sprites is not -my- fault.
