PUMPKIN SPLAT DEMO VER. 0.9 RELEASED!

Forgot to post this last night, but I was worn out. Sorry for that.

With that said, it is available for download! Just make sure you have RPG Maker VX Ace RTP installed before you play it and you'll be good to go!

The demo features a majority of the Cimperman Mansion, save for the demo exclusive puzzles and the ending sequence; along with other details like a hidden Mossy Baby or other action-packed slug petting action.

There are many reasons for this; main ones being I self-pressured myself to have something released before 2016 ended and throughout January-May I am going to be forced to balance my first part time job along with the schedule of a full time student.

However, any freetime I have (if I'll have any) will be dedicated to releasing an eventual full version of the demo. Also I plan to release a mini update featuring bug fixes before school starts up.

Nonetheless, I hope you all enjoy what's there and I wish you all a safe 2017!

Pumpkin Splat Demo Release Delayed

Because life is a brutal pain in the butt, the demo's release date has been pushed to December instead of October. But that's okay? Y'know why? Because Decemberween is in December!

Thank you all for understanding.

DEMO RELEASE DATE DECIDED!

~PUMPKIN SPLAT'S DEMO IS SET FOR OCTOBER 31 (OR SOONER IF POSSIBLE)~

The reason I didn't set a release date when I made this page was because I wasn't sure if I would complete it on time. Last time I promised a PS-related release was a month after I started the project and well, y'know, estimating you can get something big done in less than a month is ridiculous. Learned this the hard way when I had to create a frame-by-frame animated short that lasted a minute and fifty seconds. Guess how long that took me? THREE MONTHS.

But things are different now. I have a crystal clear idea of where the story and game mechanics are going. I've had a good two years worth of experience with this engine. My schedule is flexible enough for me to work on this and my education. I have lots of important assets done and ready to use anytime.

Plus, y'know, most sprites have three frames of animation. Not the best quality but it's good on the money-making hand. And having a set release date makes you want to give it your all!

Anyway, look forward to October 31st (or sooner)!
