INTRO
This is the first game that I've completed fully. I felt that it was good enough to finally put up here for others to play. I hope you all like it!

The main draw for this game lies not in it's story, but in the battles, strategy, and customization.
I've been told by a friend that this game reminds them -somewhat- of Etrian Odyssey, though I have not played that game much myself.

THE GAME
Three friends embark on their way to explore the island of 'Terrarium'.

For they heard the island contains many secrets, and are hopeful one of those secrets may be the key to saving the main character's long lost sister.

However, on their way through the island they may find the secrets further in it's depths are far more then anyone could have imagined.

FEATURES
- Playtime is estimated around 6 - 9 Hours, more or less depending on your playstyle and difficulty mode.
An extra 2-4 Hours if you choose to go through the Post Game content!

- 8 unique Classes to choose from! Be a Warrior, Hunter, Guardian,
Arcanist, Shaman, Healer, Captain, or Beast Tamer!

- Choose a Main Class and a Subclass for each of your three characters!
Do you want to be a Warrior with Guardian skills to enhance your survivability?
Or perhaps an Arcanist with Healer skills to fall back and heal when needed?
Mold your characters to your playstyle!

- Accrue Class Points in your main class and spend them to learn various unique
skills and passives to build up your characters and make them your own!

- Find magical Summoning Crystals dropped by mighty beasts along your way.
Use these crystals to summon powerful pets to your side that fight
alongside you in battle! They can attack your foes, heal your party,
or cast buffs!

- Learn powerful Overdrives and build up DRIVE to unleash them in battles!
They may just turn the tide in your favor...

- A mysterious forest that gives you access to more and more features the further
you go in the game! Perhaps you'd like to change the battle music? Buy items
that have already left the shops inventory at an earlier period? Or buy special
scrolls that cannot be found anywhere else...?

- Four difficulty modes you can change at anytime in the main menu, ranging from
Easy to Extreme. If the game is too easy or too hard, you can adjust
accordingly!

- Craft powerful armor and weapons by using the remains of vicious beasts!

- Custom battle animations for about 90% of attacks and skills!

Final Version Out

So unless there's any game-breaking bugs left (which the game is completable from begining to end including side quests, so hopefully that's unlikely), this will be the final version. O:

(V1.2, If your game folder doesn't have the V1.2 on it, there's a patch in the 'downloads' section, or you can just redownload the whole thing and carry over your save file, up to you!)

I'll still be taking feedback and ideas and anything else you'd like to let me know/tell me. :3 It'll be super helpful for later games and just to have the conversation about it.

Thank you for playing my game! I'm overjoyed it's received such a nice reception. I'm glad it's brought enjoyment to so many people. xD

Now just to iron out my next game in the works that's hopefully going to keep going at a good pace. Til next time! :3

Hmm.. Something seems off about these stairs :D

I'm not sure how to get back to the beach area after teleporting out. I just beat the eye thing and then teleported to buy items.

Those stairrrrs. >__>

But can't you warp back using the warp crystal in town?
I understand now your summon concept.
When summoning only one pet per battle, the pet stays the whole battle even when the summoner dies.
When trying to summon two or more the pets vanish after some actions.

Another bug:
When fighting the evil trap chest for the first time (esp. on extreme mode), the damage dealt with Mari's Limit is healed completely after learning it. On extreme mode that's frustrating.

Yeah, the pet stays when the summoner dies, sort of makes it easy so you dont have to keep reviving people AND then resummoning the pet back. x3

And I see! D: I'm sorry for that. I'll add that to the list of things to fix.
How is your extreme mode playthrough going besides that, though? Is the difficulty alright/is it fun? x3
I just finished Extreme. The only real boss I had to use healing for was Caelia who was very hard. I'll upload some videos later. Nice job with the game!
Remember the bug when receiving the limit of Mari?
The same happened when receiving the second limit of Dante. The demon is healed afterwards.
Is it possible, that fire-resistent monsters can be debuffed with fire-weakness but with no effect?

Congrats! :D And wow you sound like an awesome player. XD I hope you enjoyed it! :3 And that would actually be awesome, I'd love to watch them. Thank you very much. :D

Yeah, I thought about that after I fixed the first one, I'm sorry you had to go thru that again. D: But I fixed both of them. I'll upload the (hopefully) final, fixed version sometime next week or so. Do let me know if anything else is off! :3 It's really helpful. Thanks for playing~
And fire weakness makes them 25% more vulnerable to said element. So if they resisted fire by 50%, it would only let them resist it by 25%. So they would still resist it, but to a lesser effect.

In all fairness, bird shrapnel isn't as deadly as wood shrapnel

Hey there. Thinking of giving this game a shot soon enough; will likely write up your first review for it when finished. I especially want to give this a shot as I wanna try something similar after I complete my first (short) RPG for this site.

Downloading now~

I hope you enjoy it then! :3 And that sounds pretty awesome, I can't wait to see what game you make! I'll keep an eye out for it. :3
I liked the skill system and I liked the crafting... but the one character always referring to herself in the third person annoyed the hell out of me.

Eh a risk I got to take, :P Figured it went with her background story and it made her unique, however annoying XD /shrug

Thank you though. :3

You learn the code after you beat the postgame. It's a little thing I added in so if you want to replay the game, you get access to all postgame features in the forest right from the beginning if you wanted.
Started playing this. The class system is neat.
Did I just overlook it, or is there not some kinda Inn or similar service around town?

There's no need for an Inn, as you can buy tents pretty much dirt cheap for the function of an Inn wherever you want. I figured adding in an Inn as well would be redundant. xD

Hope you're enjoying the game! :3
Welp! I finished it in one sitting... xD

I Completely broke the game with this team. Mari was doing insane amounts of damage as a shaman.

Whoa congrats! Granted, it's not -that- long of a game but still, thats awesome. xD How long was your playtime?

Haha wow, nice. I was actually a bit unsure on the Shaman's damage output compared to the other classes. I tried to balance each class so it wasn't all just 'be this class cuz it's the best'. Plus it's always great hearing and seeing others class combinations. :D Thanks for the playthru, though! Glad you enjoyed it!
Well. I think 12 hours. I'll have to go dig up the folder to check, but... if you mix the shaman with a hunter, and you use nature's wrath... oh man... it hurts. Granted... if I would have picked arcanist with hunter... I would have gotten the same results.

I couldn't find myself using the beast tamer class... only because it lacked passive buffs... if you add 600Cp buffs on them... that would make it a worthy try for sure!

I'd love to see you make a fully fledged Dungeon crawler.
Sorry on the late reply!
That's pretty good, 12 hours in one sitting wow. xD I'm amazed and happy that my game actually had the effect on you to go that far.
And that's an awesome combination you found there. O: And actually sorta thematic. xD Shaman and 'Nature's Wrath'.
And eh, probably, but then there's the choice of Shaman skills over Arcanist skills.

It might lack passive buffs, but it's mostly meant really to be a subclass. You can have the passives from other classes stack and work that way. xD It was a class I added in toward the end, so didn't really know what else to add at that point. xD

I might do a remake of this game at some point, idk.
Lengthen it out with more areas, optional areas, an additional class or two, another difficulty mode, and more items/equips.
I was debating on that for a while, I dunno.
A couple hours in on extreme, and it´s really good. If you overlook the graphics, it has some solid gameplay underneath. (which is why you´ll most likely be playing it in the first place) Definitely a good job for your first game, and I hope you do that remake.

Thank you! x3 That really means alot to me. o:

I just might, it could make it easier on me since I can't seem to concentrate on this completely new project atm. Might help a bit. I guess we'll see. xD
