Cast Animations

Updated the casting animations. Still can't figure out a way to make the player move forward and do the spell pose before the animation starts, but that might be a thing I'm just gonna have to deal with.

Minor thing, but little accomplishments like this are always satisfying when you're deep in the grind pit.

Balancing moves sloppily along, skills are getting added, and I'm currently rethinking my town tilesets.

motion wait: user
perform start
wait for effect
motion wait: user
perform action

Something like this to begin with?

perform finish

I get the feeling you'd already try all of this so I'm not helping, but I thought I risk that probability and share this anyway.

Never hurts to try again. I'm always feeling like I'm missing something with how to use battle sequences, maybe because they're meant to do amazing things and I just want something super-simple. There's also the matter of the walk animation, but I'm long past the point of letting issues like the bog me down.
It may be

MOTION type: target, (no weapon)

from Action Sequence Pack 2. There a lot of options for MOTION type, one of those possibly.

Other suggestion, maybe someone in the forums can help you out.

I hope you can get there in the end, but if you do have to just deal with it, the project still looks great.
Thank you, Boo! Appreciate the help and kind words. :)

Gonna play around with it, but the animation as it is is kinda growing on me. Like they're kinda Yeet-ing out the spell.
I do like how the black mage first flashes and then sends out the spell, and I really like how thunder colour choice is green.

It does look good already.

Yep, good luck with what you decide!
