The Game Is Alive!!

Once you downloaded and start playing the game, you'll be greeted with cheery music with a birthday cake in the title screen. There will be a short intro about the party; then you'll take control of a young girl. The game gives you no direction, so you'll have to do some exploring and examining yourself.

While playing the game, it seems like nothing is out of the ordinary, but once you re-enter rooms you might notice something is different about them: Doors are open when you know you closed them, lights turned off when you haven't touched the switch, etc. Upon closer inspection, it seems like the game has crashed and closed itself. Should you open up the game again, the title screen drastically changes with a critical message to you; if you were to scroll down to the end of the save files, you'll find a particular save file that you know you haven't saved in... (And yes you can open that to see what happens which I won't spoil.) Now, once you open up your most recent save file, the house will now have even more blatant changes to them before the game "crashed."

Now this game has multiple endings; one of them requires you to input a specific code within a hole in the floor. I searched and interacted with everything in the house to find the codes, but alas I failed to find it. After asking the developer for help, I finally got the answer; the hints leading up to that code made no sense, which I thought was too hard as I could not associate the hints with any numbers; the game gives no further hints on how to translate the hint into numbers.

Other problems with the game
-After installing this game, my computer kept warning me of potential viruses; continued to do so until after I removed the game from my computer after beating it.
-The game closing itself was a nice touch the first time, however, when it constantly closed itself in further game play was when it starts to get really annoying. Especially in the final parts of the game, where you get chased by something; if the monster touches you, the game will close... Every. Single. Time.

The game is interesting with its method of scaring you externally; I applaud the developer for that. However the part where you have to find the first code is really confusing, the constant warnings from my computer about a potential virus, and the game milking the technique of closing the game frequently ruins the experience overall for me. At the game's current state, giving it a 3 is already too generous, especially with the virus warning in mind. Perhaps if the developer makes some changes to make finding the first code easier, remove the code that makes the game constantly closing itself; change/remove whatever alerted the virus protection programs, is when I'll improve the ratings immensely.

I... think there might be a hole in the basement that you might be able to access after inputting the code into the statue in the main hall? At least, that's what I noticed. That hole also requires a number input, but, I'm not sure if that input matters as much.

*Edit: Unless going that route is one of the endings you've already seen?
