A Short Game About Troublemaker

My playtime: I didn't record it, but i think it's about ~2h.

Intro
Landy Land is a "breaking the fourth wall" game about Landy, a cheerful troublemaker girl who always fail to do anything that she wants.

Graphics
Most of the graphics are using default graphics. The mapping is decent although i am quite confused because there is a "damaging HP" tile in the middle of the town. Other than that, the graphics are good enough.

Music
Most of the musics are using default musics. I love the battle bgm though. I was always waiting for the battles to come just to listen to it.

Story
There is almost no main story in this game. However, that doesn't make this game's story to be boring; in fact, it's the most interesting part of the game. As i said, this game is a "breaking the fourth wall" type of game and most of the dialogues are talking about that. Landy, the main character, always gives valid points to her statement and her interaction to others always cracks me up. I also love on the characters' names which mostly always end by "ndy".

Agreed.

The other interesting thing is the fact that you can interact to people and they'll give you different statement based on your party member and story progression. You also can interact to some of the objects to receive some items.

The game
This game has a random encounter with low encounter rate. In fact, the low encounter rate makes it kinda hard to farm gold (not that i'm complaining) to spend for the equipments. You can heal yourself for free in your home (which is not that far) or by staying at the inn for a very cheap price.

The main character also can learn a special skill by interacting to a certain object. In fact, there are even two objects which give the same special skill in the game.

Most battles can be finished in 1-2 turn while boss battles can take more than that. The bosses aren't that hard though and you won't need to use any items to beat it.

Pros:
- Funny dialogues

Cons:
- None.

Conclusion
This is a "breaking the fourth wall" kind of game with some funny (and/or silly) dialogues.

I already installed RTP and the game works fine with it so i'm not really know if this game works with RTP or not.

Thank you for leaving a review! (I was logged out for a while, so I didn't see this until now.) I'm glad you liked it so much; Landy Land is bit of an odd duck, since most comedy RPGs of its type were made over a decade ago. So it's nice when somebody says they liked it. Again, thanks!
